Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

Our main line was blocked. It was a Saturday night 8:45. Called Roto Rooter. Their customer service agent was professional and polite. The Roto Rooter agent was at our house by 9:30. Line was cleared and agent left by 10:30. Insanely smooth process.

Both services were assured done on check was hot water. Due to physical illness I was unable to check. On Sunday no hot water and a struggle to check basement showed water - sum-pump not set properly. *****When I brought this to their attention on Monday the responded by sending Carlos out to assist me. He fixed everything and there was no charge. ********* I am beyond words on how thankful I am to Roto-Rooter of Cordova. Thank you.

Great experience. The plumber was at my door less than 1 hour after my first for an appointment and the job was done less than an hour later. The cost was a little more than I hoped to pay, but to coupon on Angie's List helped a little.

Jesse with Roto Rooter came out to clean some roots from our main drain. Previous company (Conway) had been out about a week earlier but apparently didn't use the right head on the auger so we were having problems again within that week. Conway had stated a one year warranty on their coupon but wouldn't honor it even a week later. We called Roto Rooter & talked to Jesse explained what happened with previous company and he felt sure we didn't not need to replace any of the main drain like Conway was wanting to do at a huge price. Jesse with Roto Rooter came out used a different auger head than the other guy had used. The Roto Rooter cost was $200 with a 3 month warranty and Jesse assured us the 3 month warranty would be honored. Work was done on August 9, 2017. However we did not have to call him again. He advised us to use a root dissolving product once or twice a year. We took that advice and as of May of 2018 we have had no problem so far. If we do again, we would certainly call Jesse with Roto-Rooter. We have learned it is better to use a company that has an experienced tech who knows the right tools to use and specializes in clearing roots from a main drain.

They had to come back 3 times before repairs were done properly.

Not happy. The repairman repaired the drip, but reinstalled the shower handle incorrectly. The handle was installed 90 degrees off. The hot valve is now in the down position. I am surprised the repairman did not inspect his work. I was not home. I called the company the next morning and they did not offer to repair the problem immediately. They gave me the next available appointment two days away. This is poor customer service for a problem they created. I work in the quality field and I would never treat my customers in this manner. I fault the Customer Service Representative for not recognizing this issue of poor workmanship and giving Roto-Rooter a bad name. If the repairman followed up on his repair this would also not be an issue.

He suggested not using the garbage disposal! That did not go well with me since we had just purchased the house. He then recommended another option.

Everything was wonderful. I personally was not there for the repair but my sister was and she when I checked in with her while the tech, Shawn, was there she told me everything that was going on. She said he was very nice and professional. He fixed the leak and also replaced tub spouts in both bathrooms. We will be using Roto-Rooter again if ever needed.

Great service--will use again in the future. Because this service went very well, will probably use Roto-Router for other plumbing needs in the future.

The price was a little high, but the plumbers who came out were helpful to not only clear the drain, but give me tips on how to keep it clear.

Considering it was Saturday, a service person was able to come out in a couple of hours. He properly cleared the clog and made sure that the water drained well before he left. Six month warranty provided.

Very polite, showed up a little ahead of schedule. Once I explained the situation, and he totally understood, he began to fill out the much needed form without hesitation. Nice Man.

My husband had them do some work for us. I think that was a rip off and that their prices are too high. Their price was just their labor price. I would tell others unless they got a good understanding of what it is that they are charging me for.

Our regular plumber was not available for an appointment until several days later, so we called Roto Rooter. They were prompt in scheduling an appointment for the same day and the plumber arrived on time. He was efficient in correcting both problems in less than 45 minutes. The charge for parts was $69.78 and the charge for labor was $378.00. This seems an exorbitant overcharge for the time spent and the relatively minor nature of the problems we were experiencing. The next time we have a plumbing issue we will wait for our usual provider who charges $115 per hour.

Technician Dustin promptly called me after finishing his prior job and I was able to actually troubleshoot the problem with my kitchen disposal and slowly draining sink over the phone with his expertise, so no service call was even necessary and it didn't cost me a dime! Very pleased with this outcome and would recommend him and Roto-Rooter Cordova highly

Showed up on time. Nice and profession man named Andre. He performed the services just fine. When he quoted me his price I showed him the coupon and he said that he was already giving me a discount. In my opinion the coupon should not be advertised on her if it is not going to be honored. Andre should have quoted me 200 if he wasn't going to honor the advertised. I chose Roto Rooter because of their $30 coupon. TECHNICIAN DID NOT HONOR $30 COUPON. I called the office and they agreed to mail me a check for the $30.

Two weeks ago I started hsving issues with the master bath backing up in shower then tub and finally the toilet. Unfortunately I have a septic system so after dealing with this for two weeks and spending $800.00 and not being fixed I bit the bullet last night after the volcano erupted. I searched several and went with roto rooter. They called back and gave a pricey $695 est. When they should up this morning, exactly on time, they (Bradley) used a camera to diagnosis my issueand insisted I see the issue. Now my home owners is having to repair a major issue under my concrete slap master closet. And after all the stress it only cost $300 to fix my issue and I am so happy.

I had a water leak in my front yard. I was concerned about my water bill and landscaping. I goggled multiple plumbing companies and read their reviews in an attempt to choose a reputable company to do the work. When the estimate was performed the guy said they would minimize the damage to my yard as much as possible. I was told they would back fill the trench with a mound to prevent a "dip" in my yard do to the dirt settling. The first day they came to do the work they showed up with the trench digger. They decided that they would need a backhoe, so they were not able to do the work that day. They only had one guy with a backhoe and he would not be able to come out until Saturday early afternoon; which meant code enforcement would not be able to inspect the work until Monday. I was told they still could repair my water line and they would cover it with plastic and dirt to keep it from freezing and that they would uncover the water line for the code inspection. The plumbers arrived used the backhoe to dig in my yard until they found the water line, they dug up approximately a quarter of my yard, ripped my shrubs up with the backhoe and tore out the sidewalk in the process. After they replaced the line and were about to leave, we asked them about filling in the trench, which is what their field manager had told us would be done because of the freezing temperature and the new water line would be exposed until Monday. We were told they were not going to do that because they would have to uncover it for the inspection; I was told to leave some water running in the house to keep the pipe from freezing because the field manager did not know what he was talking about. The code inspector came out Monday morning and passed the water line. The plumbers did not return until Monday night because they had taken a sewer job. At which point they used a flashlight and backhoe to fill and stamp down the dirt in the trench. Tuesday morning Roto Rooter started calling asking for the balance due. Tuesday afternoon my husband called and asked when were they coming to get the huge peices of sidewalk and all of the caution tape they left in the yard. They did finally come and get most of the side walk up, but to this date their are still pieces of side walk in my yard, a trench were the dirt has settled and washed away. Now I have to find someone to repair the $2000 worth of damage to my yard.

Rebuilt both faucet handles, which corrected drips, but could not repair the diverter, so only half my issues were fixed. To be fair, the plumber was up front that the diverter probably could not be repaired and that an entire faucet replacement would be required to correct that issue. But I feel the price paid was too high for only fixing two leaky handles. Very prompt and courteous plumber.

The staff was professional, prompt and helpful. They fixed my problem on their first visit. However, the problem returned one week later. They fixed it again and suggested I buy a new sewer system quoting me over $4,000 to do so. I called my plumber for a second opinion. he found the root of the back up and suggested we use root killer to fix the problem. He said there were minimal roots (the reason Roto Rooter gave for needing a new system). He also said they had not unclogged the actual place that was backing up (they had charged $560, triple what my plumber did) to fix this. It was frustrating that I almost spent the money unnecessarily on a new system when I just needed to kill the roots and get the clog out. I do commend Roto Rooter on being quick and easy to work with but will not use them for a big job again due to this finding. Thanks!

We had a good experience with this company. Perry P. was polite, prompt, efficient, and represented the company perfectly. He took about an hour to clear a difficult clog caused by grease poured down the sink by the previous homeowner. He gave us some helpful advice, and did not try to upsell. Great experience!

This company is awesome. I called them on the coldest day of the year and told them the situation with the pipe. The scheduler stated that they were swamped with several similar cases since it was 10 degrees outside. She stated she would put me on the list, but could not 100% guarantee service that day. Within an hour I received a call back stating a tech was on the way to our home. Felix was awesome. Very professional, courteous, and to the point. He told me everything he needed to do upfront and the price he quoted was very reasonable. He even tightened the strainer in my kitchen sink that had begun to leak, and he even told my husband how to install the line to the ice maker on our fridge.

The guy came in smelling like a fresh cigarette. He stunk up my whole house right off the bat. Next he took his time going to pick up a part all the while not telling me they double the price for parts. Having known that I could have picked it up myself! The job is done, it looks good....the details were frustrating.

Responded quickly to after-hours call, arrived promptly, diagnosed problem and solved quickly. Accepted online coupon and charged quoted price. Good service.
