Everything went well. The technician evaluated the situation, then gave me the cost to repair. After approving the cost, repair was done and everything works properly now.

Service man was able to get my door back on track and advised me that my door needed replacing and gave me a price of what that would cost. He was very nice and explained and showed me why my door needed replacing. I was very pleased with the service I received and will contact his company when I get the funds to replace my door.

The experience was pleasantly professional from when I picked up the phone to call until the technician left my house. Same day service at no extra charge makes emergencies only an inconvenience.

He came on time as he promised and explained to me what the problem was. Also, recommended that I might need a new door. Very pleased with his work.

This is an excellent company. From the moment the phone was answered to when my technician, Rick left. The young lady that answered the phone listened and asked clarifying questions. She wasn't in a rush to get me off the phone. The appointment was scheduled for the next day. Shortly after getting off the phone with her, I received an email showing pictures of their employee, relaying how they would be dressed to ensure I would feel comfortable. Rick showed on time and was very thorough. He took the time to walk me through his assessment and what he had completed to correct the current issue. He gave me 3 different options to choose from to upgrade to a newer motor and remotes. He was very personable, completed his work in an efficient and timely manner. This is one incredible company that inspires me to up my level of customer service at my own job!

Arrived within hours of calling (same day), and at scheduled time, and quickly had things back up and running.

Called at 10:30 AM as new customer and received an 11AM-1PM appointment the same morning. Technician called at 10:45 saying he was ready and nearby. He arrived before 11, and quickly analyzed the situation and gave me three options. I chose to just service the door and opener and see if that would resolve the problem without replacing the door springs. After several trials, the adjusted and lubricated door is working well. Excellent, knowledgeable service at a fair price.

Scheduling was easy. Technician was knowledgeable, professional and worked quickly.

Called at 0745 for an appointment. Received an email confirmation and a call by the Technician as he was on his way. Technician arrived before 11 am and replaced the springs within 30-45 minutes. Very professional.

Service was prompt, courteous and timely. This is a first-class business, and customer service is clearly a top priority. I highly recommend this firm and will never use another garage door company. Angie's list discount was offered as well (10%). If I could give them a grade higher than an A I would.

It was a much harder job than he anticipated. He worked a long time and came back the next day to bring more parts. He was very nice and helpful and did an excellent job.

Precision did a great job installing two new springs and a new opener to replace the original equipment that lasted 22 years. The technician, Rick, did a great job installing the new equipment.

I am very pleased with my new garage door.

The technician arrived early and easily installed the MyQ system. He was extremely professional. The tech tested the system, made some recommended updates to my current garage door, gave me a full overview, helped me to install the app on my cell phone and walked me through while I tested the app/system.

excellent as always, I've used them a few times before the only snafu was between me getting the deal on angle's list and scheduling it. when I called to double check with precision, they had not received the appointment time from angle's list. Not an issue, they came just an hour after my original appointment.

Right from the get go I felt like I was dealing with a salesman not a repairman. He immediately wanted to sale me packages to replace all these parts without looking to see if there was an issue, or what the issue was. I was charged $125 for two new cables that cost $20 at the hardware store, $128 to retention the spring and a $65 service fee. I asked him about a board that cracked when the door came off its rail and he said that it should be alright. Since it was visibly loose I talked to him about me fixing it by replacing the board. He said my plan sounded good. He emailed me the invoice from his tablet were I was to sign stating that they were not responsible for any further issues because I did not have the recommended repairs made, Another words I did not buy the $599 package that he suggested first without looking at the parts. The invoice included an inspection that listed many parts that were falling. Mostly parts from the $599 package, were the ones that were listed. I guess because he tried to sale me something before taking a look at the issue counted as talking to me about it. Also the $599 price included replacing my one spring with 2 because the door should have 2, unlike what came with the door from the manufacturer. The next day I added brasses to the railing at the ceiling as I described to the tech the day before. The door came off the hinges again and this time bent the door a little bit. They came out the next day and rehung the door, for free but said they would have to charge me the next time because I did not fix everything they they said was needed. Thing is they did not say the repairs were a must before they did any work. He also pointed out the the braces to restrictive and bent the door, even though I did exactly what I said I was going to do. He also pointed out that I had not fixed the board that the day before he said should not have been an issue. Also because of the slight bend he said I would need a hole new garage door and was going to send me an estimate. The morning before they came back out, I called another company and talked about the issues. He said the drums may need replacing and longer lag bolts should fix the loose rail. He would charge $125. I asked about the 2 springs brought up by the other company and he knew what company I was talking about, without me telling him. He said they were always trying to get people to do that. He came out the next day and did what he said. I also pointed out the top hinges that were hanging because they should have had 2 bolts on each side instead of just one as the other company told me instead of fixing. He went out to his truck grabbed the screws and fixed them. I would have been ok with the higher price if they fixed the door, instead I got a salesman that was trained to pray on customers in weaker moments because a garage door is something you may not have time to shop around for. What if the door had become badly damaged the the 2nd time. I could have been out thousands because of the way they do business. I noticed it seemed I am the only person who gave them a negative review, so don't take my word for it. Ask for a price, they have a list for each procedure, so they should be able to give you a price on what you think is wrong. Then try some of the other companies and see what they say. FYI there may be a few other companies out there that are doing the same thing, concentrating on sales not solutions.

Helped me understand the type of door I had (old but still solid) and did a perfect job. Also replaced some remote openers that we could not get to work. Wish other vendors were as good!

Precision is a good company to work with. I called them yesterday evening. Person who answered the call is nice. She got details of the problem and set the appointment for next day. She also explained about emergency service and rates as I called late hours. Wes is the technician on this job. He came before time and finished the work in less than an hour. Technician has good knowledge and experience. He answered all our questions and fixed all issues with minimal cost. I definitely recommend this company.

Everythibng went very well. Arrived on time and fiinished quickly so I could get to work.

I contacted Precision Door through Angie's List messaging service on 4/30/15 and inquired as to whether they work on Patriot gate systems. Had a very quick response on 5/1/15 that they do service these systems and offering to schedule an appointment the following week to assess whether the system could be fixed and to give me pricing for the repair and possible alternatives (to replace the system altogether, which I had mentioned I was considering). The same day, very shortly after receiving that message, I responded, advised I was eager to get an estimate - the sooner the better. I also provided my cell number for them to call and let me know their earliest availability. On Monday, 5/4/15, rather than the requested call, I received another message through the Angie's List messaging system asking for my address so they could send a tech out, and a date and 2-hour time block that was good for me. I immediately responded, giving my address, as well as directions to my house, and told them I could meet them the same day or the next between 2-4. Shortly after that, I had a client appointment set for that (Monday) afternoon and messaged them back saying that day was no longer good, but Tuesday would still be fine. Tuesday morning came and I had not heard anything back, either by message or phone, so I called Precision Door and asked to speak to the person with whom I had been corresponding, Soni, the office manager. The person who answered the phone told me Soni was not available but that she told her to let me know that they had an appointment set up for the gate techs to come between 2-4 that afternoon. I thought the call was a little curt, but I know people are busy and was quick to overlook. I also was so eager to get this matter handled, I decided I didn't really care that they hadn't bothered to give me a confirmation. I quickly arranged my schedule and took the afternoon off so that I could be home by 2:00. Two o'clock, 3:00, and then 4:00 came and went with no sign of the techs. Finally, I decided I had waited as long as I was going to and was literally in my car heading to Costco with my son. As we headed out the driveway, up drove the Precision Door truck. It was 4:38pm. Still eager to get my gate fixed, I backed up, parked my car, and met with the techs. They were moderately apologetic for being late and said they didn't have my number to call. I had provided my cell number in the second message on 5/1/15. The techs seemed knowledgeable enough, claimed to have determined the problem, and said they would have an estimate to me first thing the next morning. The morning of 5/6/15 came and went. Finally, I reached out again late that afternoon asking of the status. The next day, 5/7/15, I received a message back, apologizing and assuring me I would get the estimate that same day. She also asked me for my direct email address, which I immediately provided. THAT WAS THE LAST I HEARD FROM THEM as of the date of this post - 5/27/15!! Nothing... nada...zilch!! I guess what amazes me most about this whole experience is that they knew I was an Angie's List subscriber and that I would most certainly report my experience. Apparently that didn't matter. Thanks for nothing, Precision Door!!

Everything went well as planned and requested. The serviceman offered/suggested and additional an door spring, but due to budget and cost I declined the offer and just stuck with the Angie's List Roller replacement offer.

36 hours later - after the door had gone up and down THREE times - the door came back off the track. Called precision, they came back out and put door back on track. They then charged us $69 for coming back out saying the initial work was not warrantied. I told them it had been less than 2 days and the door had gone up/down three times, and they had never cautioned us against not using it, to which they responded (in essence) tough luck and pay us $69 for the second service call and that repairs aren't warrantied as it worked when the tech left. We did our best to disagree through calls with multiple people in the office to no avail. Needless to say, we didn't buy our new door ($2000+) from Precision and gladly spent a few more dollars to buy it from someone else!
