It went great! the contractor they had come out was very professional. He came out first to measure the space to make sure he would acquire the right amount of materials. Then they followed up quickly and got to work. 2 years later, I am still happy with the work they did. I would use lowes again based on this experience.

The manager was great. The young female customer service rep was awful. She just made up policies as she pleased. I rated the customer service professionalism as F

It went fine. Their service was okay. They did what I needed them to do.

They did a good job. Arrived on time for estimate and service. They were friendly. Staff at lowes was helpful too.

It was easy and very informative. They are always very helpful and knowledgeable, regardless of which department you're shopping in.

I guess they contracted out someone to install my countertop. It was through Lowe's, nobody from me personally, you know, I did everything for them.

Bought carpet and laminate flooring at Lowe's and they provided the installation. (Two different dates). The products ( carpeting and wood laminate flooring) - no problem. Salesperson at Lowe's - no problem. The companies they used to do the installation - THE PROBLEM!. I will not use Lowe's in the future. Will use other companies despite the increase in price because I learned you get what you pay for. The installation providers arranged by Lowe's were very unprofessional. They were slow to respond to calls, not prompt in scheduling appointments,., late on the date they were scheduled to begin installation - made me wonder if they were going to show at all!, sloppy job overall. I didn't even pursue correction of the problems I had with the installation of my carpet because frankly I did not want those same people back in my house! I just chalked it up to lessons learned, and thankfully with Angie's list I can warn others.

We found the privacy fence we wanted at Lowes. It was a composite material of wood and plastic, a little pricey but worth it if installed the way we wanted. The first installer said he knew how to install the fence. He had left gaps between the boards ranging from 1/8th inch to over 1/2 inch. We told Lowes GM of the store that we were NOT happy with it so his idea to fix the problemwa;either we could have the fence re-installed at their expence or we could keep the fence and he would give us $1500.00. We opted for the fence to be re-installed just like their sample on display. He informed us that that was not possible as their samples were made at the factory and the real fences couldn't be put together that way. The manufacturer recommended that the space between boards be no more than the width of a credit card.between the boards. We agreed to this but wanted a different installer to do the work. The first installer had teens doing most of the work and he wasn't present to supervise them. Lowes agreed to use a different installer. The re-installation started off ok but soon it was evident that they too wanted to get to another job, as the board spacing began to get wider and wider This was brought to the installers attention and he claimed that the boards were warped. We took pictures and sent them to both the manufacturer and to the GM of the Lowes store also showing where the boards were coming loose as well as the different gap sizes.The GM said he would send somebody out to secure the boards. That was 6 months ago. We haven't heard from the store or the manufacturer since. Obviously, this was not an ideal buying experience. I will NOT buy from Lowes again.

I shop at Lowe's regularly. I think that the prices are fair and they have enough staff. I think the staff is given enough training for what Lowe's considers important for a do-it-yourselfer.

Until they call to set up an appointment for the estimate the story will not be finished

It was a very pleasant experience with no major problems.

They are great. They have new countertops, new cabinets, and new flooring. They were very good about working with my estimated budget. They were on time each time they come to the house. They cleaned up on time. They finished the project on time and with good results.

The flooring was fine. The punctuality was an issue. Usually, they respond if I don't like a particular contractor.

After looking around for about a year, we settled on Lowes for this job. All new cabinets, and a new floor were put in. We also had them reinstall some previous kitchen appliances and then add some new appliances that we bought previously. Overall, I'd say I was very comfortable with this company.

They did exactly what they said they would and nothing else. They guys were very confident, showed up on time and promptly removed the old appliances and installed the new ones.

They were not the cheapest around but they guaranteed their work and workmanship. They were professional, dependable and courteous. Lowes did a random follow up call checking the contractors work. I was surprised and glad I hired them to do the work. They also wore Lowes shirts.

Ed Moriarity was the plumber who did Lowe's work. He called 9 AM the next day, Thursday, and said he would do the installation that afternoon. But that he would call again 30 minutes before he arrived. He did just that arriving at 5:30 PM. He de-installed the old heater, installed the new, and removed the old heater all by 6:30 PM. Mr. Moriarity was very courteous and friendly. We discovered that his family and mine had common roots in Mississippi. He even retrieved some pictures of a house he is rebuilding in Mississippi. Having Ed Moriarity replace my water heater was like having a friend come over on the weekend to help with a project.

I used Lowes because they were convenient and they had very competitive prices. They ended up doing a pretty good job. They came and did all of the measurements and they fit properly. I was pretty pleased with them and I had no complaints. I liked that I was able to go look at the selections they had.
