Lackey Lawn and Landcare

Don't waste your time with Rick Lackey who is very unreliable. He prices his jobs at the high end and doesn't show up when scheduled. Getting him back to finish his work took a couple of months. He doesn't return messages except when it benefits him. I would rate him with a negative star if possible.

Not well. Gates are shoddy with split boards and uneven, one gate is not completed and has no latch. Sod dying in places. Having to hire someone to finish walkway; he underestimated # pavers needed by about 50%, promised time after time that he was going to bring the needed pavers and never did, eventually crying "brick shortage". Was using 2 different height pavers and did not allow for difference in walkway making it hazardous. He finally came and removed inappropriate size pavers and returned them but did not return my money, nor did he refund the money he charged for doing the walkway that I am now hiring someone to finish for me. Received 3 jobs from my neighbors after they saw him at my house and completed them, leaving me in the lurch. One of the jobs was a 164 foot cedar fence with caps and special cross boards. Also, if there is any chance of rain, he will not work..if you ask him if he is coming to work on your task, he sends you a picture of the radar.
