We have been with Hiller for over 6 years now, and have nothing but positive experiences. They installed both of our systems about 5 years ago and have regularly serviced them since (part of the Happy Hiller Club). They never are pushy with up selling unnecessary services or parts, but always let us know what is available. Particularly we have had great service from our regular technician Nikkia Jones. He has done our annual preventative service for several years now, and recently helped with a service issue. We had a minor noise develop in one of our vents, and since Hiller warranties their parts and labor for 10 years, we called them on a Sunday and they were able to schedule us the next day. Again, we were lucky enough to have Nikkia come out, he quickly diagnosed the problem, and took the time to make sure that the issue was 100% solved (loose damper blade?). Our system is actually running quieter now that it ever has. As always, Nikkia was on time, professional, wore appropriate PPE/social distanced, respected our home, took the time to explain what he was doing and made sure we were fully satisfied with the resolution. It is service like this that will keep us Hiller customers for a very long time.

Paid fir maintenance agreement and was double charged fir electrical inspection. Electrician could not find electrical box which was needed to do a thorough inspection yet did not make adjustment on price of inspection. $3500

The replacement took a day which is good for replacing an entire system. Hiller went out of their way to get our system replaced as I have a special needs Step-Son who could end up having seizures if he gets too hot. The Hiller rep. was great and got us set up for the following day after I interviewed with him and explained our situation. He was balancing some situations but then made the decision to get our system replaced next day due to the fact we had a special needs person here. They were great in removing the old system and getting the new system in place in one day. The guys were very professional and I know how difficult it was working in the attic as I did HVAC work when I lived in South GA. long time ago. I would recommend Hiller to anyone who thinks they need a new system.

Hillier did call me to discuss after my first bad review. They offered a "new customer discount" of $25.00 against the $1,000.00 invoice. I will not hire them again. Service was performed but price was way out of line and professionalism of plumber questionable.

Great!! I am a Senior Citizen and the technician explained what my problem was and was sure I throughly understood everything.

It was really expensive my husband ended up being very unhappy and all it was a part that we've replaced before ourselves in the past and it's like a thirty dollars part and he charged us three hundred dollars for the whole thing and it's actually a part I even replaced myself because my husband needs to be in the army and was deployed so we knew what need replacing of it and it's very little it's like a ten minute process thirty minute part so the fact that we were charged over three hundred dollars for it was really up-seen we thought so. They did get it done quickly that's the only positive thing. I would not recommend them unfortunately,

All representatives were dressed in uniforms, neat and clean. All reps were professional, talked plainly, salt of the earth reps. Respectful and full explained all equipment that was in good working order and explained all the problems they found with the AC unit which had apparently died from coil leaks inside beneath furnace, oil leak and coolant empty. Within 5 to 10 minutes a sales rep was at my door once I realized I needed to replace my AC unit. He described patch work glitches resulting in high costly repeated repairs, the new government regulations required for AC units. Provided me with the types of AC units, costs, warranties, told me I could wait to make a decision that was comfortable for me. Crawled under the house, checked the attic connections and told me all connections were in solid in good state, no vent leaks. After reviewing in my mind all information provided before his visit and reviewing the information Shawn provided I determined it was in my best interest to purchase a new AC from Hiller. I also consulted with a relative in CO that is in the heating & AC business. The CO company, Altitude Comfort, owner was familiar with Hiller, the type of respectable, responsible and professional ethic operations of the entire Hiller Heating & AC, Plumbing and Electrical company in the State of TN. April 18th the AC reps removed the broken AC and installed the new AC unit with high quality products, plus an additional base to put on top of current concrete base for the AC units. This base or padding lifted the AC 4 inches higher which protects the AC unit from heavy amount grass cuttings and prevents water from standing under the unit. The installers had a challenge because of the old huge Train furnace system. The reps never complained, did not waste time talking on cell phones, wore shoe coverings, laid out 2 long hallway carpeted runners inside the house, checked all vents inside for air flow and under the house for connections and leaks, confirmed the current AC unit was completely out of coolant. The maintenance manager called me at the time the reps walked back into the house with the paperwork because he told me he had not been able to reach the reps (who were under the house checking vents and the vent connections). He addressed his concern as the installation had taken more time than anticipated. I explained to the manager the techs were under the house when he tried to contact them and the installers had run into a glitch with installation because of the challenge to install the new federal regulated coil system under the current huge Train furnace. I reassured the manager the reps had not been goofing off talking on the cell phones, but had diligently remained focused intently installing the AC unit and working through glitches ensuring my personal and home safety. 4/30/16 around 3 am I called the company; a friendly cheerful voice answered the phone. I reviewed the problem of house warming up and she told me someone would be out around 9 am. At 8:30 am Hiller rep called to let me know a repair rep was on the way. The repair rep came out, respectfully listened to and reviewed the itemized log of glitches, how long the glitches had been going on. I told repair rep the AC had not cut off. Rep checked the thermostat, furnace unit and the AC unit. The rep told me a fuse had blown, the AC unit was not working at all and he replaced both fuses with new ones. He also explained the furnace blower ran constantly because the thermostat was telling the furnace what temp was requested. Since the furnace does not have human brain the furnace did not know the AC unit was not working. Rep stayed until he experienced and ensured the AC unit had resumed working and began cooling the house. Initially when I contacted Hiller from Angie's List they reviewed annual fee for yearly maintenance service check. Their cost was lower than other companies I used in the past, does not ever increase and you receive 4 system checks a year w/o additional cost for plumbing (checks all faucets inside and out and plumbing pipes/connects inside, under the house), electrical (checks all wiring inside and out), heating and AC inside and out and under neath the house). The only costs would be for repair not covered under warranty. None of the reps that were in my home, 6 reps for all my needs never tried to sell me anything or trick/take advantage of my lack of knowledge of their expertise.

Sales process was great with what I think was a very fair price (not that it was cheap!!). Install could have gone better but what major project doesn't have a few hurdles. Job took longer than expected but was still completed in two very long days. Follow up has been good. As I mentioned there has been a few issues but I was was never without heat or a/c and have seen a good sized decrease in my utility bills. Issues are centered around carelessness on the installers part which they promptly corrected and to me that's the sign of a good organization so I have no problem recommending them. I will mention that the lead installer was having "life" issues so he was on his cell phone a lot (hard not to overhear everything) and was pretty **** ** his assistant, was not the most professional thing to do when in someone's house, very awkward.

They are very reasonably priced and their contract is worth it. They really know what they are doing too.

They came out and gave me an estimate for my outside heat pump. He told me my heat pump would be broke in a year and wanted to charge me $3000,00 to replace the pump. I ended up calling another company and he came out, I asked him how long I had left on the heat pump and he told me 7 years because they have about a 15 year life expectancy. He informed me nothing was wrong with the pump to where it would need to be replaced, so I called Hiller and cancelled the appointment I had set up with them.

The service tech was personable and seemed professional. However, by the time he finished inspecting my cooling system, he had found almost $1000 worth of things he said I needed. I did not take the service and got an opinion from a second company. It irks me that these offers seem to be a bait and switch deal.

Would not use again for the inspections and wouldn't hire.

They did excellent work for me. They're extremely tidy. They put on surgical booties before entering your home.

We have two air conditioning units and two heating units and they serviced both of them. They were informative and helpful with things we need to do to help maintain our systems.

We had water coming out of a pipe in our basement and we called Hiller. We had very good experiences with them in the past and this time was no different. John came to the house and snaked out the drain. He showed us which pipes were affected and all the roots he had pulled out of there. While he worked on the drain we told him about another problem we were having with our master bath and he said "Oh, I can fix that." And he did. We'd had lukewarm water in that bathroom for months and John fixed it at no extra charge. He showed us the problem and explained how he fixed it. If we have any other plumbing issue come up, we are calling Hiller and asking for John. Thanks, John!
