GROWTH SPURTS LANDSCAPE

I usually do not give a reviews on a company because they are willing to address your concern. Bill with Growth Spurts poured a concrete driveway and patio without rebar to reinforce and strengthen the concrete from premature cracking. he promised rebar prior to getting the contract and did not follow thru his words . Now the concrete is only 3 months and has several crack and holes. he will not return to repair his works which was the highest of the 3 bids received for the project. I place good faith on Growth Spurts and decided to give him the bid. I am very disappointed that Bill does not stand by his word.

Bill was great. We got estimates from multiple companies but his experience and detailed estimate put him above. Price was right, concerns were addressed quickly and expectations surpassed. Thanks Bill!

He started out sixteen years ago. I was one of his first jobs. I got him again. He is so good. I had him sixteen years ago, and got him again. He is fantastic. That time of the year, he is really busy. He goes on his landscape job. People keep adding stuff, because he is so good. Its a bad time of the year, and its not his fault. He transplanted some bushes from my area to the left of my garage way, to the front of my house. They weren't the bulb, and one died. So out of five did good. Everything he supplied are doing just fine. I will have to get him back after a freeze, to make sure everything is just fine.

Chris was in contact with me to let me know his crew was a bit behind schedule. I have a lot of large mature oak trees and they drop a lot of leaves and twigs. The crew of four came out and cleaned the garden beds out with backpack blowers and good old fashion rakes. I was impressed with the level of detail they used to get all the deep down leaves. The best part of the entire process was the the removal of the leaves. Most companies will remove leaves only to put then in numerous bags and stack them on the curb for the city to pick up. GrowthSpurts vacuums them right up into a large truck and hauls them away. I had so many leaves they had to come back a second day to finish up. Initially I thought the price was high but when I saw the thoroughness of their work and just how much debris they handled and removed, I realized it was worth every penny!

Never heard from them

Bill and his guys worked over several days installing a fieldstone wall around two flowerbeds and a mailbox. Bill without hesitation sent his guys back out several times to modify things that I wanted done differently every step of the way until my vision was finally a reality. Any problems I identified aren't even worth mentioning because Bill and his team fixed all issues. I would without hesitation use them again in the future - and plan to do so!

The landscaper was very knowledgeable & made some recommendations about where to plant the crape myrtles so the root system wouldn't interfere with the foundation of my house.

Fantastic work! Bill and his crew are awesome. Responsive, professional, prompt and efficient. I would highly recommend Growth Spurts for any type of landscape design or maintenance.

Although we had several weather delays and some unforeseen circumstances to arise Bill and his crew worked tirelessly to complete our pool by our initial date... Only 1 week past! :-) He or Chris were in constant contact with us and made sure to keep us in loop. (Even sent us photos of the progress while we were on vacation!) Bill has always been available to answer any questions... Even after the project and payment were complete he was more than happy to come over and help out with the Polaris. I would not hesitate to recommend Bill to any of my friends or family and would feel more than confidant that they would be equally as pleased with his customer service, professionalism and services as we were!

When I called to make an appointment for a quote, I was told that they worked only Mon to Fri, 8 to 5pm, so I would need to be home during the work day to get a quote. I agreed to come home from work during the day. Bill stopped by, as planned, a few days later. He was early, very friendly, professional, knowledgeable and had excellent design ideas. He said I would receive a quote and design in a few days. 7 business days later, when I hadn't received a quote, I called him. I told Bill I was wondering if he knew when the quote would be ready because I had 2 other quotes and didn't know if I should wait for his. He said he would have it out that day. I thanked him and said I was looking forward to it. No quote, email or call received yet. Angie's list asked me to review Growth Spurts Landscape no later than today, so I am completing the review as it currently stands.

Installation was on schedule. He came out multiple times to adjust the lighting, as it's difficult to point lights exactly in the right direction during the day. He came out after dark to fine tune the lighting. He also came out several times to help us with the two controls when we re-set them (or tried) for daylight savings time. Today is Feb 25 and he just came to the house once more to help us with the controls, so followup service is commendable.

They came out for the estimate and he said that he would come back a few days later to give me and estimate and he never came back and I didn't speak with them again. He was professional when he came out to my home. I guess my job was too small for him.

Growth Spurts completed the job on schedule and it turned out even better than I anticipated. The staff was professional and friendly and Bill's experience and creativity added the extra touch I was looking for. I intend to hire Growth Spurts again this spring to do some additional landscaping and patio work. The service they provide is exceptional!

Growth Spurts has done several projects for me over the years, including installation of an irrigation system and drain, and construction of planting beds, and they have always been great. Bill is easy to work with and gives great suggestions.
