The Frase Protection representative, Andrew Tinker, came to our home within a few days of my initial call. He reviewed our needs and was very good about answering our questions before we signed a contract. The technician, Chia, came out as scheduled. Although I was not home at the time, my husband said that he knew what he was doing, and he installed the system very professionally. The technician also explained how to use the keypad and key fobs. Our only criticism is that we had some special requirements for the alarm system that were not initially addressed. This was disappointing. However, when I contacted Andrew, he very promptly arranged for a technician, Ethan, to come out a few days later. The system is now perfect for our needs. The alarm system is very easy to use and seems to be an excellent one. The monitoring is $39.50/month, which is more than some companies, but we are happy to be supporting a local company and are happy to be receiving support and service from a local company. This was important to us. We hope to maintain a great relationship with Frase Protection for many years to come!

The staff at Frase Protection is fantastic to work with. Very responsive to questions and they listen to your needs. Frase also offered good pricing and the installation was outstanding. No mess, friendly and they walked me through everything. This was a great experience and NOT some high-pressure sales deal. In addition, getting use to our new system, we have set off the alarm a few times. My phone rings immediately!! This is a great feeling. I should also mention that Frase has serviced the Memphis area since I was a teen (long ago). I am a very satisfied customer. Art Nolte

UPDATE (01/20/15): Technician arrived early this morning and set to work installing wireless sensors. He also relocated a previously installed smoke alarm to a more preferable location at my request. Then, early this afternoon Mr. Frase himself stopped by to make sure I was happy with the system and hand delivered the refund for the overcharge. He also tweaked some settings on the system for me. Overall, very happy with the system and Frase Protection now. It's understandable that people make mistakes, it's how you handle them that makes the difference. I'm really torn, I want to like Frase, as the technician was professional, and managed to get my pre-existing home automation devices to play nice with the new system. And the new system is pretty slick, and the monitoring folks are very fast and professional (yes, I tested...less than 60 seconds). Unfortunately, we had an issue with old wiring that they reused, and it tripped the alarm the first night. No worries, technician came back and disabled the problem zone, and explained that the solution was wireless sensors. Unfortunately they're not covered in the original install proposal. He said John, the owner, would call me to discuss installing the wireless sensors. It's 24 hours later, and I haven't heard from anyone. I called in to see if there was someone who could discuss the issue with me, and it seems all the people I would need to talk to are out for the 3 day weekend. So here I am left with a largely useless security system. I don't want to tell people how to run their business, but I would have endeavored to get some sort of solution in place ASAP. Also, I just got a call from one of their billing folks, they accidentally overcharged me on the install by about $450. I appreciate them catching it quickly and letting me know. Update: Literally as I was about to submit this review, I got a callback from a manager at Frase, and we have agreed on pricing for wireless sensors and installing the first business day after the holiday. I'm pleased we're moving forward, but I'm going to leave the scores where they are until the additional work is completed.

We are big fans of Frase and feel good supporting a local business vs. a national chain. We bought a house that had an ADT system but wanted to switch it to Frase, who we used at our old home. When you get up and running first they will send a person out to look over your home and give you some options on what system best will suit your house. Our guy called me and was very nice and gave me the options of a wired vs. wireless system. He said the wireless was a little more per month but would be less install, whereas the wired would save me $6 monthly but be more expensive to install as we could not re-use some of the existing wiring in the house. He didn't put a hard sell on me for additional items or anything like that, which goes a long way with me. I can't think of the last time I dealt with a large national chain that they didn't try and upsell me on something. That is why I like dealing with local businesses like Frase. Anyway, after he leaves you set up an appointment to have the system actually installed and set up. The tech arrived on time, was very nice to my wife and went through everything with her on how to work the system and access the online features. We had an issue after he left with a motion detector where it was being triggered and setting the siren off even when the system was not armed, and they were able to fix it over the phone. They are always very nice and professional when they call after an alarm. Every now and then we forget it is armed and open a back door to let our dogs out, etc. and set it off by accident. They call immediately, ask for the information, and are very professional.

The provider was always, and continues to be, very prompt and extremely courteous.

As it happened, I did not have an emergency and was able to take control of the stove smoke before anything went terribly wrong. I was so pleased with the immediate response I got from Frase though, and I feel so secure with them paying attention to my security--both house and fire alarm. I have been with them more than thirty years and have found them to be always prompt, courteous and professional. Recently they called to inform me that my system was outdated. They replaced that system with a modern, more efficient one at no charge to me.

Luke was our installer and did an excellent job. He was prompt, personable, and professional. He came in behind Xfinity because we had to have a primary smoke alarm system per code for our remodel and Xfinity was not able to provide that. He got the job done with no problems.

Luke was our installer and was prompt and courteous. We had to remove components of the previous system as well as add several smoke alarms, motion detectors, and heat sensors throughout the house. There was lots of work to be done, and Luke made it look easy and was extremely polite and clean for the entire day. At the completion of the work he took the time to go over the entire system and answer all of my questions. We went with FRASE after looking at a number of companys and decided on them based on reviews, personal refferals and their cost.

The salesperson, John, was personable and answered all of my questions. The installer, Luke, was also professional and went over the system with me. There were no hidden costs. The next day I was contacted by the office to schedule a visit within the fist thirty days of having the system to go over the any questions I may have.

Installed at the time the best State of the High Tech equipment. A local company that has local monitoring & service.

I recently had a new alarm system installed (doors/windows/motion detectors, etc). Frase was prompt, professional in all aspects. I have no complaints at all! I highly recommend this company.

They are an alarm monitoring company. They did an excellent job in every respect. I got them from Angie's List. I would recommend them without reservation to anyone. This company is somewhat cheaper than the previous company.

The guy from Frase came on time, he was nice and answer all our questions, he gave us an estimate and after 5 days we are going to use their system.

tThe install went great! The young man they sent (I can't remember his name) was very friendly and professional. The monitoring cost is pretty competitive and they don't give you a promo rate and then jack up the price later! I appreciate that the company is local... Jessica at Frase's office is much friendlier and easy to deal with than ADT!!

The techs arrived on time, got the install 90% done. They had trouble with a window sensor and provided a wireless one. Installation went smoothly. I couldn't be happier !

Went very well from start to finish. Everyone we dealt with was very responsive, pleasant and helpful. No high pressure sales and quick to answer a call, set up appointments and afterwards, they followed up to ensure everything was working properly. A real contrast to other alarm companies we dealt. Also liked the idea of working with a local company that is very customer focused.

Great experience from start to finish. From the beginning they were willing to work with our existing system and only made additions or replacements where necessary or desired. Even when presenting possibilities for future improvements to the system, we never felt pressured to add on services that we didn't want. The installer was on time and informative. He made a thorough check of the existing system before starting the new installations and gave us an overview of our new keypads once installed. He even demonstrated the way motion detectors can sense variances in weight between us and our cat. We added a text service to our monthly monitoring at the suggestion of our rep John. It has come very handy already. We are very happy to have found a local company for this service. Having people who understand your neighborhood and your concerns first hand is worth every penny.

These guys are a breath of fresh air. I was a Brinks/Broadcom/ADT customer ans was NOT happy with the corporate attitude that came after ADT took charge. I was alway gettin the "we don't support" this or that which was no problem for the folks at Frase.

We have been very pleased with Frase Protection. Starting with the quote process, through installation, to ongoing monitoring, Frase has provided quality and professional services. I only gave them a B on punctuality, because the reps were very late to a scheduled appointment (but at least they called to tell me they were late). Pricing for install and ongoing service is comprable to ADT and other alarm companies.

Frase was recommended to me by a friend, and I have not been disappointed. I wanted a local company, and that's what I got. Every time I call with a question, I get the same person instead of an automated menu. After the initial install, I decided I needed a second control panel installed, and the time between making the call and actually having it installed was just a couple of days. Frase is responsive, fast, and I'm very pleased with the product and the service they provide.

Got information from Frase about costs to add features I wanted(new panel, cellular backup, motion sensor). Chose Frase due to lack of 3-year contract, good equipment options(expandability of DMP panel purchased). Installation of new panel took slightly longer than expected due to choosing a new panel model(for reasons given before). Install took 1 full workday plus 2 additional visits to get cellular backup working properly. Installation costs were fixed price.
