Pricy. Crew seemed to be very knowledgeable, but a couple of them appeared to be under the influence of something.... Owner was very nice. When quoting price, promised to put tarp on because rain was expected. Waited until it was dark and lightning started to say he couldn't because of equipment. Tarp could have been cut and placed on holes prior to this, but he was waiting on someone to bring tarp to him. Came back the next day alone to finish. Left a huge stump in the back yard. Told me it would be extra to remove this. (Never said this when giving the quote). I have had other trees removed and no mention of this. Only told this at the end. I told him he should tell his customers this when giving the initial quote. They kept telling me they couldn't do more because his crew was on another job in another part of the city. He worked with 1 one other guy. They did not have the limb shredder when he returned on day 2 to complete the job. Did not really seem interested in completing it. I think ultimately if he had his entire crew, the job would have been better and not so many excuses.

They've been very good. Their pricing was very reasonable compared to some of the other companies and they were licensed as well as bonded. The owner himself came to look at the site so I felt more confident that things might be done right. They were extremely good about cleaning; after they did it, we couldn't even tell that they've been there. I would definitely have them bid on things.

The owner is a hothead who screamed at my wife when the job went a few minutes over his time estimate. She apologized and attempted to give him a second check for his trouble but he plowed right by her in his heavy truck, refusing to stop and running perilously close to her on the street. His helpers who came up behind in their own truck gladly took the check and we notice Mr. Eric Ecklund had no trouble cashing it as it was made out to him personally. Would never again employ him or recommend him to our neighborhood due to his emotional volatilty.

Contacting them and getting a quote went well. Communicating with them to schedule a day and time could have been better. But once a date was selected, they came and did their work. I was satisfied with what they did and thought it was a good value ($150 less than my other quote). Their bill was accurate.

They were very professional, showed up when they were supposed to, and completed the job.

I have used them on numerous occasions for trimming and cutting down trees. They come when they say they will be there and will work all day. They always leave my yard spotless. All limbs and debris are carried off the premises. They are very professional.

Everything went well. It was a small space to work in. Nothing broken and all branches, etc. cleaned up. Good experience.

I would highly recommend Ecklund's Tree Service. He and his crew were professional, responsible and treated my property with respect and care. He arrived on time, did what he contracted to do and left the property clean. He had a very small space to work in with a fence on one side and a covered flagstone patio on the other. He is very knowledgable in the operation of his machinery and so careful. I cannot say enough good things about this company and would definitely use them in the future.
