CONSTRUCTION BY JERRY REED

Horrible experience. I called them on May 2, reporting water dripping down my living room wall and ceiling. They said they would call back that day. They didn't. I called again next day and the day after that. Always getting a promise of a callback but never getting it. This went on for three and a half weeks. Finally, after waiting for callbacks which never came, and concerned for the water seeping into my ceiling, I contacted another roofer who immediately gave me an appointment even if it was out two weeks. At least they gave me hope that someone cared about my situation. Jerry Reed installed my roof in 2009 and did an excellent job. But after how they treated me this month, I will never contact them again.

They came out to look at my roof problem. They told me they would call me with an estimate. Two weeks later, and after I left three messages with them, I never heard from them.

He arrived at the scheduled time for the bid. He gave me a firm price for the completion of the job. He told me when he could complete the job (when to call him to firm up the schedule). After calling him to confirm, he told me that he would pick up materials I purchased (including making trips to/from hardware stores to buy additional supplies) and start the job the same day. That's exactly what he did. When the job ran one day longer, he returned the following day and completed the job as described. He even did some additional work that I requested on the second day.

Jerry Reed responded right away to my call and came to give an estimate the next day. They returned the following week with a full crew and did the work in an afternoon.

Jerry Reed is a very straight line company, and his prices are very reasonable. I did work with my insurance company to have the roof replaced, so it was not as much as I would have anticipated it to be. I think the total amount for the replacement was about $1700, and I only ended up paying about $800 or so. I am impressed with the roof. There are no leaks coming through at all. I actually went up there and looked at it, and I was impressed. It looks way better than it ever did.
