Re/max Cross Roads

They did a great job. They were prompt and returned phone calls. The agent that I had was very good.

The real estate office was recommended to me by someone who knew the daughter of one of the agents. Initially, the real estate agent was fairly polite (although never actually friendly). We viewed approximately 6 houses in a 2 week period. She pushed heavily for awful houses that I was not interested in, in locations that I was not interested in. She also made sure I signed a blanket contract with her & the company, unlike many agents who will sign a contract for just 1 house that you're interested in. After the 2 weeks, she would not return my calls or show any more houses. I finally went somewhere else & bought a house from a lovely realtor. I was aboveboard and let the new realtor know that I had this contract with Cross Roads and that they weren't helping me. I subsequently went & got a form signed by Cross Roads that I was terminating the contract. When I bought my new house from my lovely new realtor, Cross Roads demanded they get a portion of the commission. My new realtor paid them from her own commission. Cross Roads obviously has no conscience if they demand money for work which other, better, nicer realtors perform for free and which was subpar at any rate. I wouldn't even send enemies to this realtor.
