Putnam County Tree Service

Basically it went OK. They surprised me by showing up to take down the trees on a Saturday afternoon without calling first. Thought the price may have been a bit high, but not outrageous. All in all, no real complaints and I would hire them again. l

There was a miscommunication and one tree got thinned out that shouldn't have been, but they did a good job with removing the tree and trimming the branches. They cleaned up after and cleaned up some areas that weren't impacted by their work in order to make up for the miscommunication. The cost this time was reasonable, but I've used them in the past and have had some jobs that I thought were pretty expensive.

They arrived timely and quickly accomplished the job. The workers were very neat and removed all wood, branches, even sawdust. This was a very large tree and had other trees nearby equally as large. No other trees were damaged in the process. They were all very professional.

We got very prompt service. They came within an hour of me calling (part of that was good timing because they were finishing a job in the area). The trees were taken down quickly and efficiently. The men were professional and did a great job of cleaning up the debris afterward.

The work was completed as requested and the area was cleaned up once the work was completed. They were courteous, professional and did an excellent job.

I called them the middle of the prior week. One of their representatives was here within a half hour to evaluate the tree, a large maple next to the sidewalk. He told me it would be $500, which I told him I thought was too high. He told me that they would be out here that Friday or Saturday. The weekend came and went with no appearance or contact from Putnam County Tree Service. It was the same with Monday and Tuesday, no contact. On Wednesday, they did show up and began removing the tree. The job was done professionally and thoroughly. But I believe their communication skills should have been significantly better. A representative did call me several days later and I did tell them that I was not impressed with their communication. He offered to reduce the bill from $500 to $400. I believe this was a fair offer.

Came on time and completed work as agreed. Picked up all litter from branches and leaves. Left area clean and scraped.

They did a good job. They are honorable. They did complete tasks and did what they said they would do.
