Monte arrived on the time and day he said he would come. Final confirmation on this was the night before, due to the nature of this outside work relying on weather. I have a difficult site with several obstacles for heavy equipment. He chose the right machine to do the least amount of damage. He was very careful in it's operation and tried to maintain my flower bed (but was not able to - not his fault). I believe he cares about doing a job right the first time and I expect to use him again on another project I am preparing for.
Description of Work: Uncover septic and install riser, then recover tank.

We contracted with this company based on reputation and past work done for us. One or both of us met with Monty in late winter 2010 to go over ideas and get his recommendations. Due to his heavy workload and adverse weather he was unable to start work until mid spring. This was expected. The work took longer than expected, but again partly due to continued adverse weather. As this was all related to the farm and was not an actual building project we did not expect perfection. However, all of the work on each of the projects was well done overall. Monty (+ two sub contractors for specialty work - concrete pad in drive, and several trees that had to be taken down by professionals) finished our projects in July 2010. During my career serving the farm community I worked with many contractors of this type and can state that Monty is among the best in this area. He is friendly, helpful, and does not waste time when on the job. His prices are typical for this area and the quality of his work is above average.
Description of Work: Earth moving/shaping, fence removal, clearing and debris burning, subsurface tile drainage installation, spreading gravel, install armored (rip-rap) drainage ditch, build block retaining wall
