A-Jacks Electric

Description of Work: We started noticing a flickering of the lights when our heat cut on. I called the electric company and while I was at work they called me to tell me I had a 'bad meter base' and they were pulling my meter immediately (no power!). So I had to try and find an electrician before my fridge warmed up! I had a friend call a local contractor and he gave me a list of names/numbers and I started calling. Out of the 6 people I called, Tim picked up and said that he was on the way back from lunch and could stop by. Within 3 hours he had my meter replaced (along with the entire housing on the side of my house because it was so old)! All for a great price. While he was here I asked him to take a look at my fuse boxed. We had this mess of glass fuses and breakers in 5 or 6 different breaker boxes since we bought our house about 5 years ago. He gave me an estimate for that too and scheduled a time to come by in just a couple of weeks! Now I don't have to calm my wife down and she lights up the basement trying to replace a glass fuse! The single 200-amp breaker box looks GREAT and he did a great job of tidying up wires and left NO mess. He even labeled every breaker and installed smoke detectors in my house to bring it up to code. All this for CHEAP compared to what people were telling me it would cost.
