Ā + -1 moreCharlie Wooley does not warranty his work. Heās extremely arrogant and the job he performed broke-down in a couple of months. When we called him to go back and check it out under warranty. He said āIām too busy, and lose my number. Iām not interested.ā So Charlie youāre not interested in making the work that you do actually perform? But Youāre fine taking someoneās money? If youāre a consumer in need of HVAC work, I sure hope you avoid this Hvac Man . He is not honorable.

Ā + -1 moreCHARLES DID A DECENT JOB ON THE INSTALL. HE DIDNT GO UNDER MY HOUSE & STRAP UP THE HANGING DUCTWORK AS PER OUR AGREEMENT. I BOUT THE BRAND NEW UNIT IN JUNE 2021. IN THE MIDDLE OF DEC 2021, I HAD TH NEED 2 USE TH HEATER. IT DID GOOD THE 1ST COUPLE NIGHTS, BUT TH 1ST NIGHT TH TEMP WENT BELOW 40, IT BLEW COLD AIR. CHARLES TOLD ME TH UNIT HAD A 10 PARTS/LABOR WARRANTY. I CONTACTED HIM & TOLD WHAT WAS GOIN ON & HE TOLD ME HE MOVED OUTTA STATE LOL. I PINGED HIS PHONE WITH A GPS APP 4 TIMES. HE NEVER LEFT COLUMBIA. HE HADTA COME PROLLY 50 MILES 2 DO TH JOB. I THINK HE'S JST BEIN LAZY & DOESNT WANA COM BAK UP HERE. **BEWARE**

Ā + 1 moreOur home has a garage that was converted into a den. The air flow to this room has always been weak. In fact we had too much flow at one end of the home and weak flow at the other. In the winter, we always had a musty smell coming through the vents. Mr. Wooley and his brother fixed all of it! For 6 years we lived in this home and suffered sneezing and coughing. No mas! We are breathing easier with our new ductwork, and the flow of air is consistent throught the entire house as is the temperature. Even our downstairs den is much more comfortable now than it's ever been. Maybe we'll actually use that room in the winter time now! I was thoroughly pleased with the work and the price. The Wooley Brothers are good people. I would use them again in a heartbeat. The service tech came by after the work was complete to tune up the unit. He found the reason why the unit had always been sweaty and fixed that too! I had 2 different companies out to the house before trying to fix that issue, but no one had been able to do so before. Mr. Wooley even came back and replaced the wet insulation. He said he wanted to make sure the job was done right. I am very impressed!
Description of Work: Removed all faulty ductwork under my home and replaced it with new, insulated ductwork. Installed vapor barrier in crawlspace. Installed new varmint shield around AC unit. Tuned up AC/Heater unit.

Ā + -1 moreWe are first time home buyers and had a duct work nightmare. We found Mr. Wooley on Angie's list and he came out immediately and quickly assessed our problem. The work he did was nothing short of amazing. He installed brand new, appropriately sized duct work and put down a vapor barrier that I had never seen before. You can literally hang out in the crawl space it is so nice. Before, our house wouldn't heat up or cool down properly despite having energy efficient windows and HVAC system. Now, the house heats and cools a lot more effectively. I can't tell you how happy we are with his service and professional installation. The man really knows his stuff. We will be using him again for other projects around our house. You will not beat the value for his service.
Description of Work: We had a vapor barrier installed which was unlike any vapor barrier we had seen before. This was one is a lot more efficient as it covers 100% of the crawl space and halfway up the wall to ensure proper ventilation and security of the barrier. The duct work was old and ill-fitted for our house. He resized and installed brand new duct work fitted specifically for our house. He also did odds and ends services including: extending our dryer vent, installing brand new vents throughout the house, and clearing the crawl space from old trash and animals.

He was punctual, friendly and did an excellent job on the installation, making sure that the barrier was put down neatly and correctly. We had a contractor who was visiting for another job comment that it was the cleanest crawl space he had ever seen. Mr. Wooley went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied customers.

Description of Work: Mr. Charles Wooley removed a poor, outdated HVAC duct system in my home. Last year I purchased a new 16 SEER 2-stage HVAC and the installer failed to evaluate the duct system. As a consequence, my home was never comfortable and I was unable to take advantage of the improved technology or realize a true cost savings. After considering duct cleaning and sealing, I realized for the cost, I needed to have the system evaluated by an expert - not another HVAC retailer. Mr. Wooley was just that expert. He responded quickly and the next day was at my house to provide an estimate. He immediately realized my duct system was oversized, leaking in multiple places and in very poor condition. In his quote, Mr. Wooley charged me for the labor and I paid cost for parts. Had I had the same company that installed my HVAC install new ducting, I would have had to pay double to triple the cost. Charles represents the skill and attention to detail in his craft rarely seen these days. If you need ducts repaired, replaced or simply evaluated, the only person I would contact is Mr. Charles Wooley - he is an outstanding professional that will give you a fair and honest deal. My home is comfortable thanks to Mr. Wooley.

Ā + -1 moreI was quoted a higher price from another contractor and chose to let Wooley Brothers do the work for a price that was much lower. They started the job right on schedule and finished it that same day. I am not a ducting expert but I know what my old ductwork looked like before they replaced it and from what I can see, everything looks good and I have noticed an improvement in both my heat temperature and the cool air from the air conditioner. I think they should get an "A" for punctuality, workmanship and very fair price. They cleaned up all the old ductwork debris and hauled it off.
