Drainage Pros and Grading

We have negative slope from our front yard towards the house. Late last year, we found a spot of mold in the corner of the basement and remediated it with microban and kilz. That corner was moist on the floor, so we had 3 foundation companies out to look at the situation. Since we didn't have any actual water flow into the basement, we went with Drainage Pros to divert water from the negative slope away from the house to see if we could prevent foundation leaks into the basement. Drainage Pros put in two curtain drains and tied in our downspouts to move water away from the front porch and the foundation. One curtain drain was just beyond the sidewalk leading to the front door. The other curtain drain was back close to the front porch as a fail safe. We liked the design and really wanted to try diverting water away from the foundation first before anything else. The construction process was 4 stars. There was what I call a bump in the process. Bob owned the issue and was a big part of resolving the problem. He went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the result. The curtain drains look nice and really blend in nicely with the landscape. Honestly, it will take time to determine if this solution is going to work long term. We feel good about the chances and didn't have to tear into the foundation, install sump pumps etc. The result was 5 Star.
