Description of Work: Replaced shingled roof and gutters, covered soffit and facia.

Description of Work: In 2009 I hired Central Tennessee Construction Co. LLC to remove an old roof, gable ends, and vented soffets, down to the trusses and replace all these pieces with a reconditioned ones. The house is special, a Lustron Home (lustron.org), the roof consists of interlocking steel panels from the 1050's. The DePysslers pulled off the old damaged roof and installed the salvage roof I provided. A very difficult job that many other roofers were not interested in because it is a non standad restoration. Three workers stayed on the job four days until it was complete to my satisfaction. They helped me select the correct fasteners and secured the seams, advised about waterproofing and preservation. The whole job was a great success and the roof replacement made it possible to continue to restore the house. Bob said that if I had any trouble with it I could call him anytime and he would take care of it. One pesky screw did come loose and they came back to fix it. Later in 2009 I hired them to remove the back wall of the building, consisting of 2'X2' steel panels and replace the pieces with reconditioned steel panels. This included several window and door trim pieces which screw into the steel studs of the house. One day. It took only one day.The rest of the week was spent remodeling the bathroom including the ceiling and several interior walls and a pocket door. Again, a complete success, allowing the restoration to continue. Bob said if I had any trouble with the work they had done I could call anytime and he would come back and fix it. In April 2010 I again hired Central Tennessee Construction Co. LLC to reconstruct the steel gutters / downspouts / downspout supports, patch holes in the ceiling, hang drywall, cap an "L" shaped wall with beautifully finished wood, install a Schluter shower stall system and drain, install ceramic tile on the 5' X 5' shower and 5' X 10' bathroom floor, repair and install a used bathroom vanity, hang fixtures, reinforce a stud wall with 2 X 8 bracing for grab bars, hang steel wall panels, replace a concrete footing around the parimiter of the building, remove an air conditioner and reconstruct the exterior of the building as if the ac had never been there. They even brought a welder to re-weld the studs that had been removed by a previous owner. Beautiful job. These guys work hard. Oh, and they clean up after themselves, every time. For the amount of labor for each job I thought the price was very good.They are not the most expensive folks to hire, or the cheapest. They are, however, very sensitive to the quality of the workmanship and have high standards and expectations.
