Description of Work: Jason Hall called me in response to my message asking for a quote to repair the crack in my garage floor. I explained that my neighbor's tree roots had caused a crack down the side of my garage. I also explained that I had two foundation companies assess the damage & was relieved that my home's foundation was not affected because the garage floor had been poured later and was a 'floating slab'. I told Jason that a structural engineer had also done an evaluation to confirm the problem and provided a recommendation to repair the crack. That recommendation was to pour concrete down the crack, let set 24 hours, the repeat the process until crack was full. This engineer suspected it might take two or three times.Jason's immediate response was 'That sounds crazy, I've never heard of anything like that.' This offended me as my father is a retired expert structural engineer who referred another structural engineer to come assessed the damage to my garage floor. He is not only highly qualified, he is also a high profile, highly recommended expert in his field. That he came out to look at my garage floor as a favor to my father was much appreciated.For Jason to disparage a professional engineer whom he knows nothing about, plus that he would make such a comment to me, a potential customer, was quite unprofessional and rude.At this point, I ended our conversation politely saying thank you for returning my call, you have a nice day.As a member of Angie's List, I feel obliged to pass along this unpleasant experience from a highly rated contractor from your list.
