Our driveway has always had a large uneven hump at the entrance to it that causes scraping on entry or exit to our cars if not entered at an angle. It is an aggregate sealed driveway. Several times my husband has tried to have this fixed by tradesman who said they could do it, only to have their "fix" break down and crack in 6-8 months. This time, I wanted it done by a professional who worked with aggregate and could do the job once and for all. We took several bids for the job and settled with A+ Concrete. They told us it would take a day to cut out the driveway and pour the concrete/aggregate, and then the next day they would finish the clean-up after the overnight cure. They showed up early on Thursday to tear out the old section of the driveway. When I returned from work that evening, they had the construction flags out blocking the drive so that no one would drive on it while it set. The next morning they returned to finish the job and it was wonderful. No more scraping the undercarriage of our cars and no more chipping "sakrete fixes"! If we had need of anymore concrete or aggregate work, A+ Concrete would be the first ones we would call.

The whole experience went very well. Jason came out and looked at the problem, made a suggestion I had not thought of. It involved something I need to check with the historic overlay commission. Turned out to be fine. Jason and I communicated over e-mail about the final decision, chose a date for the work. He arrived when he said he would. The job took just as long as he estimated. Everything was cleaned up and taken away. I am very pleased.

It was a great experience from start to finish. Jason responded promptly and professionally at every step. He came right out for the estimate, got us the quote the next day and work was started and completed the following week. His prices were very reasonable and we are pleased with the quality of work. The one thing that stood out to us most was Jason's great communication skills. He did a stellar job communicating the what, when, where and how's of the job and making sure we understood the process and encouraging us to share questions and concerns along the way. It is rare to find a contractor who will take the time to explain things instead of just doing the work and collecting the money. We highly recommend A Plus Concrete.

Mr. Minton was quick to come out and give me an estimate. His estimate was competitive to others that I had received. I was placed on his schedule, and two weeks later he and his crew poured a patio and steps leading up to the back door of my home. I'm very pleased with the result, and I would use him again. I decided to call him based on the reviews here on Angie's List.

We were trying to get my mother's house ready for sale but the front porch was in need of some concrete repair. The porch & steps had been covered with some brick veneers & the bricks on the steps had started to come off in several places, causing a tripping hazard. I could not find anyone that could repair the bricks, so I decided to just remove them from the steps. What a disaster! I called Jason, & he came out & looked at the situation & advised that since the veneers were on the porch there was too much of a distance for just one step, so he advised changing it to 2 steps. He started on the work the next week & finished in 2 days. He did an excellent job & I called an investor the day he finished & sold the house the next day. I am getting my own home ready to be sold & will definitely be contacting Jason again at my home.

They did a great job and I would recommend them to anyone. He is a great guy and very pleasant to deal with. He had very fair prices.

Jason responded quickly when we called him to give us a bid. He came to our house to look at the damage to our driiveway and replied to us quickly with a reasonable bid. He worked with the insurance company and they accepted the bid he provided them. It was easy to make arrangements with him to set a date to provide the work. Once he began the work it was finished within the timeframe he had given us. The finished product looks great and we are very pleased with his work.

They did a really good job, and their work was really good. He was very fair and up front with me. The quote, and the final cost were very reasonable. As he worked, he came across things that he didn't know were there, but he just kept working through them. I told him I was going to call him back for something else I want done.

Our front stoop had gradually sunk over the years to approximately 1/2" below the outlining brick. Jason and his crew correctly identified the problem and poured new aggregate. It was completed in two days, cleaned up efficiently, and it now looks great. Great attitude and professionalism. I would definitely recommend A Plus Concrete.

The main water line of our house runs under the driveway and developed a leak. Once the was fixed, we had to patch and match the concrete aggregate. After reviewing Angie's list and consulting with people in the business, we realized that we had to find a professional that would do this repair right the first time (we are selling our home). Jason came over and assessed the job. He was very professional and explained how he would repair the driveway. The cost was good. The result was terrific! He did a great job on the color match.

Job was to have our driveway redone in concrete from a gravel drive. We opted for the aggregate finish. Our driveway is rather long so we knew that it was going to be rather expensive. Jason came in with the lowest bid, but they were all in the same ballpark (save 1)(we got 5 bids total). What made us choose A Plus, were the positive comments and reviews on Angie's list. Job was to be done in two steps. They finished the first step on schedule, but weather prevented them from starting the second. Total time was about 10 days, with 2 more days before we could drive on it. Quality is very good, and Jason was easy to work with, and went the extra mile to make sure we got what we were wanting and expecting. He was also willing to work around our schedule.

The service was great. I was called repeatedly advising me of the schedule since it was during a rainy season which delayed starting the project. I had some trips out of town so we tried to schedule it those weeks, but the weather didn't cooperate. I was in no hurry as it had been 2 years since it was crushed. Even though I stated that I wasn't in a hurry, I was communicated with on a regular basis to keep me appraised of the schedule. When the weather finally became dry, the project was done. They did everything as promised and it looks great. They even widened my entry area and made it look more decorative, adding a couple seams. I had a large stack of bricks on the aggregate walk in the back yard. They hauled the bricks away for me, resulting in them returning another day to seal that section of walkway. The quote was lower than the other two that I received, which had me a little nervous, but with so many positive comments here and on the internet, I contracted with A Plus Concrete. I'm glad I did. No money was collected until the project was completed and I was able to make sure it was performed as I wanted. It was an excellent experience and I highly recommend them to anyone else needing concrete work.

Jason Minton was very professional and compassionate regarding our previous bad experience. He was also very professional and prompt in helping us fix the previous problem The new sidewalk looks great. He tried his best to clean the concrete spatter on the house from the previous contractor. He also demonstrated his qualifications in concrete pouring.

As you can see above, there was an unavoidable bump in the road with an unexpected isolated thunderstorm. Jason made it right.

Work was started and finished on time. Original estimate increased 25% due to complications and added extras. Job site was cleaned when project was finished. They also hauled away some other debris not related to their work, and did this at no extra cost. "A" rating in all categories except price. I have never given any contractor an "A" in this category.

The job looked fantastic when complete, we could not have been more pleased. The team at A Plus was very attentive to detail and always prompt.
