A Plus Concrete

Jason was able to come to our home to give a quote the morning after first contact. He is very knowledgeable and pointed my husband in the direction of design and size that we would need. He returned that week to design, dig and pour the concrete. It took a total of 2 days and we could not be happier with the outcome! Jason and his father (that assisted him in the pouring) were very professional, friendly and fair. We couldn't have asked for more!

I have a dear and longtime friend who lives in Pegram and who's steep gravel driveway with three turn around areas has been washed out so many times it was hard becoming harder and harder to navigate. We decided if at all possible we would like to have it done in concrete. But it wasn't at all a 'money is no object' situation. From the first conversation with Jason I knew we would choose him. His father taught him the business and it shows in a strong work ethic, professionalism and perfect good old fashioned manners. At one point during the walk through I wondered if a retaining wall might be needed at the base. I was aware in would be a considerable cost increase but wanted it to be done right. Jason told me it would be a waste of money. Seriously admire this good man. If you get a lower bid.... Run like the wind. You do not want corners cut when it comes to concrete and you will not find a company with more integrity. It was a big job and he had an appropriately large crew to knock it out in the exact timeline he mapped out. And yes, it looks stunning. Oh... In a storm right before the job a tree fell into the driveway. Jason brought a chain saw and moved it gratis. Unreal.

Jason and team did a great job. Called several times to schedule the job and showed up as promised. Jason worked with me on my budget and still did an excellent job. He did what he said he would do and was very careful with the grass and area around my barn. If you need concrete work done - give Jason a call.

We are so impressed with Jason Minton and his work. He did exactly what he said he would do. We had a water problem when it rained and he new exactly what to do to reroute and it has solved the problem and the new patio is beautiful as well. He is honest and is reasonable as well. We highly recommend him because of his quality of work,honesty,and just a really nice guy! I forgot to mention he replaced part of the sidewalk due to cracking and sinking. It looks great also. We moved into the house last month and found that the driveway was too narrow to park both of our cars. Jason widened the driveway from the street by 30 inches and poured a new area from the house and back to our fence up by the garage. He did an excellent job. He is very reliable and showed up on time each day and supervised every aspect of the work. He was a pleasure to work with. He is very personable and explained each step of the process. We were very impressed with his professional work ethic and his friendly demeanor. I would highly recommend him.

Jason arrived on time and explained what he was going to do and why. He was very precise in measuring and forming the area for the pour. This work was accomplished in between rain showers which made effort take longer than usual, but was done right. Would recommend Jason to anyone wanting this type of work done.

I had an unexpected expenditure so the driveway is on hold but I would recommend people give him a ring if they don't want the run around.

I needed a section of my driveway removed and replaced because it was cracked and broken in multiple spots and there was a huge pothole where it met the street. I also needed a new headwall along the side of the driveway where it went over a culvert. Jason from A Plus Concrete came out the day before the work was scheduled and met with me to make sure the job would be done to my liking. Everything was explained to me, from what was going to be done to when I could use my driveway. The job was completed in one day and within 3 days I was using my new driveway. The new driveway matches the original and is shaped and contoured so much better than the old one. The transition from the driveway to the street couldn?t be smoother. The new headwall looks great and really finishes off the driveway. A Plus Concrete far exceeded my expectations on this job. I could not be happier with the work they did, and I highly recommend them.

Jason helped in the design and had great suggestions for functionality. From the first meeting to the finished product, Jason was professional, prompt, and courteous. His work and craftsmanship is "A+"!! We love how our project turned out.

Jason was very good. We had to postpone the project for awhile due to the weather but he showed up when he said he would. The job was done quickly and pretty good. There was a bit of mess left behind, but I wouldn't hold that against them. It's a dirty job. The only imperfection is that there is about a 3' section of the concrete that doesn't quite match the rest. It's a little darker. Not a huge deal. I thought it would even out over time but it's been a few weeks. I would still recommend using A Plus Concrete.

A Plus Concrete was great! Jason is a true professional. He kept us informed through the whole process. He and his crew were there every morning at 7:30 as promised. Results were fantastic. If you do your reseach online, you will quickly realize Jason pours driveways THE RIGHT WAY, so they look great and last. Will be calling him when we need a slab poured for a detached garage. Jason was great ? communicated clearly before the job, was quick to return calls and answer questions, took care not to damage the yard with the concrete truck despite some pretty soggy conditions, and laid down a beautiful pad. Also, he was a pleasure to work with, friendly and professional.

Jason was very upfront and set my expectations appropriately when I contacted him about my driveway addition. His pricing was very reasonable compared to 3 other quotes that I received. He was very honest when I asked about the expected results if I had him patch existing cracks in my driveway. It was a 3 day operation and went very smoothly. One day to build, one day to pour and then the next day to wash. Jason is your guy for upfront, honest concrete work.

Jason was prompt and professional. The price was very reasonable too. When the weather didn't work out he had to come on the same day as another repairman and they work around each other very well, to get both jobs completed. From the moment I first contacted Jason to discuss replacing my driveway, he treated my project as if it were the single most important thing on his list. His bid price was very competitive. The original schedule got moved around several times due to rain, and he always called me to discuss options for rescheduling. Never once was I left in the dark about anything - be it scheduling, scope of work, the effect of requested changes on the price or process - nothing. One of the most impressive things I found was that Jason made sure all the pieces to the project were in place to get the project done in the most expeditious manner possible - material haul away, rock delivery, concrete delivery, work crew, and clean up. The project was seamless. If you want a contractor that knows not only concrete, but also knows how to properly manage a project, Jason Minton is the person to call.

Jason is a concrete guy and he will tell you that. He was up front about everything including scheduling our project. He's a busy guy buy we weren't in a hurry. Once he started the project he was fast. I had concerns before the pouring but we worked it out. I wasn't accessible as I had hoped during this time but Jason communicated very well and laid it on the line for us. It all worked out in the end. Since he's a concrete guy our slab looked excellent and the minor re-touches that needed to be done he did in a timely manner. All we have to do now is get a landscape guy to do some nice edging around our new patio. I would recommend his services.

Jason Minton, the principal of the company, met me with as scheduled, supplied and explained the cost, and appeared punctually on both days of work, with his crew of two assistants (one of whom was his father, who had many years of experience in concrete work and formerly owned the company). The work was performed skillfully and professionally, with a very successful and attractive completion. Jason himself performed the pressure washing and cleanup on the final day. I would recommend Jason and his company to anyone and would use them again without hesitation.

Very punctual and professional employee. Very impressed with patio. Once I removed the old wooden deck I realized the home builder did not veneer the whole lower structure of house. Jason poured the patio in such a way it covered the majority of this. Looks great. Concrete is sloped for appropriate drainage as well. All aspects were very well thought out. My family is enjoying our patio very much this summer.

Jason was punctual and did exactly what he said he would do. He was extremely detailed in his work. His father came out the second day to wash the top to expose the aggregate and did a wonderful job. Jason Minton impressed us with his professionalism, price point and design ideas. He and his crew were here when they said they would be, did the job they said they would in the time he quoted. We called him back with one question and he was responsive and more than happy to come and correct any issue that we may have. I was grateful to have him here rather than contracting the work out and like I said, he was extremely professional. We are VERY pleased with his work and business.

They are very reputable and did exactly what they said they would do. I am very pleased with them and might be calling them back. Their price was a little on the steep side but it still worked out to be okay because of the value of what I got, how it made my garage and the way the whole front of my house looks. Their quality was excellent.

Jason did an excellent job! He arrived on time and completed the repairs that were needed.

I had Jason add an extension to exposed aggregate driveway for roughly 600 sq feet. We got two bids and the bid from A Plus concrete was better by a few hundred dollars. At the end of the day that was only part of the decision to select them. The overall professionalism and the fact that the work is generally not sub-contracted out were also big decision criteria. Jason and the team did a great job on time even being flexible to proactively plan around the freezing temperatures. The driveway turned out great. The team even came back for one more power washing to make the look of the exposed aggregate blend perfectly with the existing driveway. Overall, from beginning to end this was a great process and I would recommend A Plus for concrete work in the future.

Jason worked with me on a plan to limit travel over the neighbor's yard. This involved stationing his equipment in my yard and transferring the rubble out to a dump truck that was located in my driveway. The concrete was poured from the truck into the bucket of his tractor and then deliverd to the patio area. This was no small feat, as the end of my driveway has a retaining wall that is approximately 5 1/2 feet tall. The logistics and execution of this plan were impressive. Overall, the job turned out well. I had been concerned that the new work would appear different that the adjacent older work. Jason assured me that it would not, and he was correct. I've had to do more repair work on my yard that I had anticipated, but given the situation I am not surprised. I am a retired project engineer and have worked with many contractors over a thirty year period. On industrial jobs, you come to expect a higher level of service (higher than residential) because the contractor is always looking toward repeat business. After contracting to build three homes in my life I can say that I've found it rare to find contractors that really act as if they wanted my return business. Jason's company is definitely an exception to that experience, and I would highly recommend them.

Jason came out gave an honest estimate, explained what he would be doing in detail. Explained that he would not be responsible for making adjustments to the gate which the sidewalk would go through, that he did not seal the sidewalk and that we would have to pay extra to have dirt hauled away. He showed up when he said, the work was done as he stated on that the day he said. Completed each stage of project as he said he would. Worked with us on the general layout of the walk. Project complete on time and on price.
