Richard Witham came to my home and guided me in the purchase of the gas Tankless Water Heater. The A.O. Smith product is American made (right here in Tennessee), and it carries an excellent service and safety rating, along with a 12-year warranty. Richard gave me an estimate, which I approved, and he installed the system in a 2-day operation: running a new, larger flexible gas line on the first day, and, on the second day, removing the old water heater, building a new mounting frame, and installing the new tankless water heater. He also installed reinforced stainless steel water hoses on my washer. Everything was completed with professional and courteous detail. I heartily recommend Richard Witham and Witham Plumbing Company for excellent plumbing services.

I have used Wally several times and he is most friendly and a true "master plumber." No job is to large or to small for him. He is good! And reasonable. Even our dog likes him. . .they are best friends....

Called Wally and he came the next morning. He took the lever off the shower unit and discovered it was a cracked seal. He had one in his truck and said he wasn't going to charge me for a .50 cent piece. I was shocked that one he didn't want anything especially for his time and that he was honest and told me someone else would probably suggest changing out the guts of the unit. Sure enough that is all it needed and we haven't had that issue since then. Wally is one of the best plumbers I have used and I will keep using him. I actually lost his phone number and was happy to see it listed on Angie's List. I have recently referred him to other homeowners who state the same response.

Mr. Witham did an excellent job. He had to reconfigure the faucet set-ups because of the change in the sinks that we had put in with our countertop reno. Mr. Witham is a rare jewel in a business that can be excessively expensive and poorly done. His work is excellent and it is always shockingly reasonable. I always feel guilty writing the check!!!!

Wally was corteous, easy to understand over the phone, his quote for the job was much lower than other 4 plumbing services I had contacted. He showed up very quickly, on-time and ready to do the job. Was very clear on what to expect -i.e. dust b/c of sheetrock work, and when it would be done. Were given an estimate of 2 hours @ $90 / hr. His estimate was FREE! With other plumbers we would have been stuck with a $50+ service fee. Appears to be very knowledgeable over all things related to residential plumbing. For example, I'd have cut off the water supply at the valves located underneath the sink. He chose to do it at the main source, explaining that doing so would minimize any possible damage to *our* valves. Did all the plumbing work the first day, did recommend a handy man for repairing the sheetrock that would do it faster and cheaper than he would, which ended up saving us additional money. Final bill came to exactly 2 hours, even though I think he spent more due to the size of the rough in being slightly larger than the previous one. Very pleased with his work, Wally is now our plumber. Highly recommended!

Very knowledgeable and professional. In 2006 they diagnosed and fixed a problem where two other plumbers had failed. Honest, straightforward hourly rate.
