Description of Work: Cran came out promply after contacting him and gave me a estimate. The other firms I contacted were going to be 3 to 4 days before coming out. I had a very large tree which was damaged by the wind a few days before and was in danger of coming down on my garage. Crew showed up the next day, (Sunday no extra charge) and did a nice job of getting the tree down with no damage to my garage or out buildings. I was very pleased with the job and would use them again.

Description of Work: Cran came out and we discussed tree thinning and dead wood removal. I received a verbal quote on the spot and a confirming email in a few days (weekend). I signed the papers confirming the work and price agreed upon (including an Angie's List discount) and the date was set for the following Saturday at 8 AM. They arrived shortly after 8 - there were a few misty raindrops but not enough to stop the work. The delightful thing was that they immediately went to work doing the more labor intensive and quiet work. They didn't use a chain saw until after 10 O'clock. They also removed 2 large tree roots by digging and using an axe - again relatively quiet. Cran, an arborist, came by several times during the morning just checking to make sure all was well - and with this attentive management it was well. Large limbs were roped and lowered gently to the ground (no big divots in the lawn below.) Clean up was on going by the fellows on the ground. The tree climbers were well versed on safety (I used to mountain climb) and worked well as a team. Once all the tree work was finished, front and back, the clean up was completed right down to blowing the deck off from saw dust. Of course they hauled the debris and We now have sunlight through the trees instead of solid shade. I highly recommend them and I'm picky (interviewed 7 tree firms before settling on The Tree Firm.)
