Solid Ground Landscape

In the beginning things went well. However I noticed after the first year that they were not performing all services agreed upon. There were weeks where my grass was not cut and no adjustment made to my billing. Then surprisingly they stopped cleaning my gutters monthly with just a notation on my billing that said "NO GUTTERS". When I asked what that meant I was told they weren't doing it for any of their other customers and there were insurance issues. I had no advance notice, they just stopped doing it. Maintaining my shrubbery and flower beds was also part of our contract and although they came weekly, dead leaves in the flower beds and overgrown shrubbery was the norm in the front of my house. Overall, I received terrible customer service, no communication unless I initiated it and a very unprofessional approach overall for a service business.

They're fantastic, unbelievable. I would absolutely recommend them to everyone.

The yard prep the day before and the sod install the day of took several hours each since there were so many roots in the area that we needed taken care of. They were very detailed in telling us how to take care of the zoysia and make sure it blends into our current lawn properly. This included watering instructions, laying sand as well as mowing/handling instructions. So far-it looks great.

I chose this company based on fairly positive Angie's List reviews. Unfortunately, they did not show, did not return calls the day of the appointment, and did not have the courtesy to at least call and say they were not going to be able to make the scheduled appointment. Maybe they had an emergency, but if so one would think another person could at least call customers or potential customers to explain the miss.

Outstanding company! They are extremely punctual and very professional. Our lawn has never looked better!

Mr. Hamilton is a wonderful person. Honest and extremely dedicated to his craft. He gave me a very honest estimate. He came and got right to work! We did have to reschedule some hours because of rain delays but he was always in communication. He did an excellent job and the beds look beautiful. I will hire him again and have already begun to plan some more projects for him to complete. Mr. Hamilton cleaned up after himself and hauled away all of the trimmings. Could not have imagined a better experience. Thank you Mr. Hamilton and ANGIE'S LIST!

During the inspection, Mark pointed out a handful of things he would do. I was glad he pointed them out, but I began to wonder if his services would make him too expensive to afford. At the end of the inspection, he gave me a price that was within striking distance of our budget. He & his crew arrived at the start of the contract and promptly got to work. Our yard looks fantastic. I'm glad we found them.

I rarely write reviews - but this was an exception because of the exceptional and amazing work and service! Very professional, friendly, and really cares about doing a great job and at very reasonable prices.

They came out on a Saturday for an estimate and then came back the same day to do the work. He said if I get his service weekly it would be cheaper, about $80 per week. It went well. Three people did the work. They had good service and they came right out.

No complaints at all. I was please with their professionalism and the quality of their work. We will definitely use them again.

Excellent!! I couldn't say enough good things about Premier Landscaping! I called for an estimate and Mark came out, looked at everything I wanted, and supplied me with a detailed written proposal/estimate. They arrived on the scheduled day and worked tirelessly, in the heat, until everthing was done to prefection. They trimmed existing shrubs, weeded and mulched all beds, planted new shrubs, and build a new stone edged flower bed. Everything is beautiful! Very polite and extremely professional. I would HIGHLY recommend Premier Landscaping and will definitely use them for any future landscaping services.

Mark and his wife, Billie, are just awesome people. Very hard-working, honest, and determined the job will be done correctly. It was a pleasure meeting them and working with them. I would have no qualms about recommending them to anyone. In fact, a couple of my neighbors have asked for some bids from Mark as a result of seeing his work ethic in action. The proposal was well done and the charges for the work perfomed were fair. I had other proposals which were totally ludicrous as it related to the cost aspects. The services were performed within the time frame specified and in order to do that they worked until almost 10:00 one night. Great people! Great job well done!

I called for an estimate for mowing and weed-eating my lawn. Mr. Hamilton returned my call the same day. Mrs Hamilton came out the same day to do the estimate. I was mildly surprised because it was already dark when she came by. She quoted a price, which I thought was extremely reasonable considering the amount of time weed-eating my yard takes. I have many trees, plants and garden areas. I was e mailed a contract, which one can cancel at any time, which I appreciate. I agreed to the contract, in which every other Monday would be my day for service. The following Monday, May 19th, Mrs Hamilton and a young man did indeed come to do the job. I commented about it being so late in the day and perhaps they would run out of daylight, to which Mrs. Hamilton responded that the dark wouldn't affect the job. Sure enough, she did have to discontinue the job until the next day. She also stated at that time that she did not realize at her first estimate that the weed-eating would be so intensive, and that she would have to adjust the estimate. I was expecting this because as I said, I was very surprised at the first estimate. I found the second estimate also to be very affordable, by the way. She and another man, I assume her husband, did show up first thing on the morning of the 20th, to finish the job. They left my house when they finished without talking to me or letting me take a look first. Afterward, I did look around and was generally pleased. There were several areas, however, that were not weed-eated. Around my small tomato garden, between some trees growing along our fence line and the actual fence, (part was weed-eated, part was not), and a small area directly behind my house. This area could have been a misunderstanding because I did ask the first day for them to be careful doing the area and not week eat a small oak tree growing there. Maybe they thought I did not want the whole area done. That same day I had to return briefly to the hospital, and did not communicate with them about the issues I had. The next day I did notice a number on my phone had called, and I think it was them trying to contact me. I have not talked to them yet. I feel confident that they will have no problem making it right, should I call them about it. But I will probably get my son to finish it up. The reason I contacted them in the first place is because I recently had surgery so could not do it myself. And my husband is stationed in San Diego until mid June. Also, my two sons were unable to help out at the moment. One going to Germany, and the other working long odd hours. I will continue their services unless one of my sons becomes more able to help out. Overall, I have been very impressed with their communication, service, and pricing. I also would have no problem recommending them to my friends and family.

Mr. Hamilton came out 1 time last fall to mow my over-grown lawn at the end of the growing season. He did such a great job I have him coming out bi-weekly this summer. Very, very pleased with his work and customer service. Easy to do business with. Would highly recommend.

GREAT JOB. We were very impressed with the work and professionalism. After starting to mow, they checked to see if it was the correct height, readjusted and went back over the part that had already been done. Employee helped the home owner remove a large log from the property. Went around places with water (due to rain) with the mower and used weed eater there instead preventing ruts. WOW - I would recommend this company to all of my friends.

FANTASTIC! I called the first 5 people on a Saturday late afternoon from Angie's list that had the best reviews. MARK from PREMIERE LANDSCAPING called me back immediately and asked to come out the next day. Another landscaper did the same thing. One other waited a week to call. I still haven't received a call from the other 2. - WINNER- Mark Mark came out that Sunday and had a quote and a drawing done for me that night. The 2nd guys quote came in 5 days later, and the 3rd approx. 10 days later. - WINNER - Mark My wife and I seriously discussed the plans- The 3rd guy was $1800 over the discussed budget. The 2nd was $500 over and had nice plant ideas that my wife really liked. Mark was $100 under budget and we liked the ideas presented but my wife liked the 2nd guys plan. -WINNER - WIFE I had to call Mark and tell him we were going with a different landscaper. So we called the 2nd guy and asked for a drawing, that he said he would present if we decided to go with him. The guy said sure I will get it together this weekend. (It was Wednesday). On Monday, no design so i called, he said sorry im almost done with it ill get it to you soon. Two hours later i got an email saying I lost my pictures I took of your house, can you snap me a couple and Ill get it to you by next weekend. -FIRED- So I emailed Mark around 10pm and asked if he would still be interested. Mark had a new design and quote for me at midnight. (hows that for service!), Mark and his family came out on Easter Sunday (4 days later) and conducted demolition on the mess that was our inherited landscaping disaster. Two days later they were back out and planting a new landscape, we were amazed. We have had neighbors that we've never met compliment our landscaping. Most surprisingly our "nosey" neighbor said she sat out all day and watched Mark and his family work, and said they were so particular about where things needed to go, and complimented how hard they worked, that she wanted their information for a friend. My recommendation as a very, very picky person is to hire someone with integrity, good moral character, and discipline. Hire this Navy veteran for your landscaping, you WILL NOT be disappointed.

Due to surgery, I am unable to cut my own yard for awhile. While taking a walk, I saw this companies truck and the great job they were doing on that lawn. I contacted Mark via Angie's list which worked really well. He quoted a price and was very diligent about responding to my emails. He even knew I was concerned about the several days in a row rain forecast and he worked me in. Work was completed, cleanup immaculate. He called before he came to let me know he was coming. Wonderful people!

On the appointed day of the estimate, Mr Hamilton called ahead to let me know he was on his way. He arrived on time for the estimate and took pictures of the beds. He helped me decide on which plants and flowers we should add to the beds. He then sent me an specific estimate via email and I approved it and mailed it back to him. On the day of service, we received a call with the estimated time of arrival. (I have a pet peeve about workers who do not return calls and do not arrive on time so I was very impressed with Mr. Hamilton's professionalism.) The work was done in a few hours and they cleaned up the yard nicely when they finished. We were very pleased with Mr. Hamilton's work and price. Our flower beds look so much better! There is no doubt that Premier Landscaping will be our "go to" company for yard work and landscaping.

Super responsive. Reviewed my annual lanscaping needs and created a customer quote for needed services. Provide quote in a timely manner, quote accurately reflected my needs. After signing the contract, they completed a mulching job. Very professional job on the mulch. Hand placed where appropriate, great coverage. I've done the job myself and had others do mulching for me over the years. By far this was the best job done on the beds. I was very pleased with the job. Next on the provided services will be an annual planting. I was contacted about a week delay due to the recent cold weather. Again, outstanding service to insure I was aware of the plan. So far, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this vendor.

They called and said they wanted to start in the afternoon because it was suppose to rain. They cleaned out ALL of my flower beds even though I only ask for the front and back. They picked out some beautiful flowers and plants and added some I requested. They put down mulch and added stones that we did not even know were in the beds. They worked until 9:30 that evening. They were two fine people who really cared about what I thought and how my beds looked.

The flower bed was cleaned up very well, the trimming done really well. My yard looked 20 times better than before and I was so thankful that they were able to complete the job when they said they would. If you ever need your landscaping done please call Mark at Premier, he did an awesome job and the price was very reasonable. Mark is a military veteran and so am I so I love supporting any military service member who have their own business. Thanks Mark!

mark, wife and son did all the work. Prompt, courteous and did exactly what I wanted. Finished job in 1 day. Good price and will call them again to do more work. Highly recommend them. A+ job! Love it!

Very well. Lawn care was provided punctually and the price was extremely fair. However, when the sod was laid, they placed dirt and sod over the sprinkler The price was excellent so the minor inconvenience of cutting the sod to fit around the heads was worth it. If you have automatic sprinklers, I would recommend marking the sprinkler heads before any sod is laid.

We agreed on a price and a date. Premier showed up on the scheduled day. Three workers (family) completed the job promptly, and cleaned up the branches, leaves and other trimmings. The hedges looked really nice. I had had this work done by another provider last year for about half this price, BUT it was not a complete job, and within a month the problem was back. It has been over two months and I am still happy!
