Kilgore's Flooring

They installed broken tiles. Left grouting on the tiles and wall. Damaged the door frames. Removed and did not reinstall the quarter round. When I contacted them about cleaning up and correcting the job Brenda Kilgore told me first I would have to pay them the ballance due. When I told her I would pay after the job was done she put a lien on my condo. I ended up having to hire another contractor to clean up their mess. He told me he had repaired several of their jobs in the past.

them but they never did. I finally ended up having to rip up the old floors and replace them with new. I only wish I had listened to the other company they gave me an estimate, it would have saved me a lot of time and $3500.00. I could NEVER recommend Kilgore Flooring.

Bid was done fairly quickly on 5/1/2015, but did not hear back from contractor until 5/18/2015 with bid. Stating that he had not heard back from me that he had sent an email previously. After reviewing emails including Spam no email found. So needless to say I chose a different provider.

Very helpful up front, slow getting back with us. Big difference between informal, ballpark estimate and actual estimate. Good showroom, very helpful staff for the initial visit, very nice people.

Everything from picking the tile, estimating the cost and installation was professionally done. Once the tile was shipped the installer scheduled a walk-thru to determine needs for the job and scheduled the work days. Installation took approximately two days and looks great. The crew was very courteous and professional, even replacing three cracked tiles in another room during the job! We definitely will call these people for our next job.

I couldn't be more pleased. Every commitment was honored and done on time at the agreed to time. I was impressed that all of the installers were local men who have been installing for Kilgore's for 14 + years. They were very professional and very respectful of our property and time. I was impressed that all of the materials including the tile were made in the USA. Finally after the job was complete the owner Brenda stopped by to inspect the install and discuss how we should maintain the just installed look. We will surely use this company in the future.

Was told by servicer I would be referred to someone that servicer knew to assist in resolving problem of water leaking through brick and into flooring but was never contacted by anyone so my issue remains unresolved and I'm still looking for a company that will help me. Also the servicer was late for appointment time because job ahead of mine ran long. The person they sent was very professional.

They're wonderful. They're efficient and reasonably priced. They don't make a mess. They did a good clean-up.

Kilgore was recommended highly to us, and we saw their good reviews here, so we called them for an estimate to lay tile in our new condo. They were very responsive and quickly came out to do the estimate. We already had a tile in mind to buy, and they tried to redirect us to a similar product that they sold. They did not, however, indicate the price of the tile, so it was unclear whether or not it was priced similarly to what we wanted. That, among other things, disappointed me in the estimate, which was quite a bit higher than it should have been. The estimate was presented as a single amount. Nothing was broken down as to materials and labor costs, nor did they indicate the square footage that they measured so that I could see the total cost per square foot (I know what the square footage is, and I wanted to know whether or not they were "padding" their measurements). When I asked for this information, they said they would not give me their measurements, because "people have taken our measurements and gone elsewhere." They did provide some of the breakdown of cost. They told me the cost per square foot of the tile (way more than the other tile I want to buy), but they did not tell me the total amount of the tile (presumably because I could then figure out what their measurements were). So I am still not sure exactly what they are charging in total for labor and materials. I just find it a little bit cagey. I feel like I deserve to know exactly where my money is going. So I decided not to hire them, since I did not feel as if I could trust them. I'm sure they do beautiful work, as others have attested to, but as I am one who wants a full accounting on any estimate, I will be using someone else.

We were needing some tile laid down in two rooms at a condo. We already had the tile. I dealt mainly with Rochelle. She was very nice. They scheduled an estimate inspection at no charge. She told me the condo complex required a sound barrier, something I did not know. They gave a fair estimate and I selected them. The installer called to let me know he was running a little behind from his previous job, which was appreciated. They came and did the install. They did an excellent job and we would use them again. The price including them removing the old carpet in the rooms, as well as taking out the furniture that was in the rooms. They also were able to get to me very quickly compared to another installer who could not get to me for several weeks.

The installers all did a very good job. The tile was laid evenly and straight. Everything matched up perfectly. I would highly recommend them to others.

I called, got quotes for the whole unit. I had the tile done first and came back about a month later with a request to do the carpet. The carpet was on sale so my second quote was for less than my first. I was pleasantly surprised and the job went flawlessly. Many thanks to Rochelle at Kilgore's.

We were happy with their services. They were nice, and treated us with respect. The overall experience was excellent. It looks good, so we will see about the quality. It looks beautiful. They came when they said they would. They were professional. I would use them again, if I needed more carpet installed in my home.

They have changed the name a couple of times. She got different samples every day for almost a month and we found the perfect tile. She then called a subcontractor to install the tiles. He just came in and got out. He did not talk a lot. He was as good if not better than her. His customer service was just fabulous.

They were prompt and were accommodating, because I needed the work done quickly.
