Buffalo Creek Gardens

Buffalo Creek designed and installed a French drain to divert the water away form the embankment. Barbara, with Buffalo Creek, worked with us on the design and materials selection to install the drain. They built a short retaining wall using existing stones, replaced the dirt and installed plantings and ground cloth to hold the embankment in place. They also created a river rock covered garden where the drain empties. Their employees take pride in their work We were so pleased with the first project that we had them work on the area across the front of our home. With Barbara's help, we worked out what we wanted for each area and then broke it up into smaller projects that we could do as resources became available. Buffalo Creek employees removed the plastic, Junipers and mulch. Then they graded the area, installed top soil, plantings, stepping stones, and a bird feeder. We now have a beautiful garden with various plants blooming from spring until late fall. At a later date, in the rear of our home, Buffalo Creek employees installed a second larger paver patio surrounded by a butterfly garden. They also planted a tree to help shade the patios. They used the sod from the patio and garden area to patch other areas of the lawn that needed it. They have also done a number of smaller projects for us. They installed a crushed stone walkway from the side of the house to the front gardens, removed a dead tree, and did the fall trimming of rose bushes and hedges. Whenever possible, they reuse existing plants, stones, etc. Barbara and Al, the owners, are always personally involved in each project from start to finish and we highly recommend them.

The owners are Al and Barbara Fletcher and they have always been exceptionally good for us. They have been very willing to help and come out and give advice as to how to solve problems and we have been getting mulch from them for years.

Both services were done in a professional manner within the estimated time and cost. This latest parcel of work is another pieces in a larger overall landscaping plan for the property. Very outstanding job.
