This is an outstanding service company that provides multiple services for your home. Highly recommend their services. Moved my different types of service Cals to them several years ago. They have installed my current 2 Hvac units and service them. Recently they diagnosed an issue, provided me all my options and when I chose to replace my unit they provided great choices and recommendations. Install was about 2/3rds of day. Very net, professional and cleaned up after themselves.

I found them via Angi.com, and I am very happy to provide them with a great review to aid other homeowners who are looking for a skilled, professional & honest contractor. Jerud Blake is always available to take your call or text you right away. Their quote was fixed price so we had a very good idea of what our cost was going to be, based on allowances for the materials we would need for our project but that we had not yet selected. I cannot speak highly enough of this firm. We have had them do additional projects for us: they re-did the decking on our dock, and will be installing a new iron spiral staircase for us next spring. They essentially completed our projects on time, as well!

Could not be happier with the job Jerud and his team did. We chose them because out of all the contractors we had out he seemed the most thorough in assessing and addressing our house's issues. His team was flexible, dependable, and honest. For instance, when they found a serious electrical issue that the person who flipped our house 15 years ago had left they told us immediately, explained the problem in detail, and gave us the name of the electrical team they were working with who could remedy it soon. Jerud even credited us back money for part of a job on our roof that ended up not being not necessary. He checked and double checked to make sure the leak issue would be resolved by doing something minor. We were so thankful that his team took on our project as it was not a huge glamorous before and after, but way more than what a general handyman would be hired for. He gave a year warranty on any work that was done and was completely professional and friendly. His reputation was verified by the electrician who came out a few days later and said, "Jerud really is a good, honest contractor. It's sad to say there aren't many like that anymore and I work with a lot..."

This was a really tough job renovating offices in a historic building in Downtown Knoxville. They leveled the floors, installed interior windows, did sheetrock repair and installation, adjusted doorways etc.. Big job. It was excellent all around. They were always prompt, did great work, cleaned up and were reasonably priced. Five stars.

Blake did a fantastic job in the basement. The job was complicated by discovering extensive water damage but he took care of everything and went above and beyond to finish the job. While the original schedule was out the window because of the water damage, the job was finished in a timely manner with the team working late on several occasions just to get things done. He even added finishing touches that were not included in the contract, and did not charge for them, just to make everything uniform and professional. He was conscientious, polite, considerate and kept the job site as clean as possible which was great as we were living upstairs during the job. I would highly recommend Blake Brothers Contracting and we plan on working with him again next year to remodel the upstairs and kitchen.

Blake Brothers are a must hire and here's why. They did EVERYTHING they said they would do in exactly the time frame they said it would be done and at the exact price (actually at a discounted price) they said they would do it. The project was to turn a half bath into a full bath, create access via a doorway to an existing neighboring room; block in a wall to an existing neighboring space and make that space the new closet to the newly created bedroom. Not major surgery but a fair amount of work regardless. Simply put it was seamless. Seamless. Jerud and his team (brother and nephew) were very professional, punctual, polite, conscious of our atmosphere (dogs and young kids), respectful, etc. I would and am going to hire them for more work. The finish of the work was spot on and Jerud refused to leave until we were 100% satisfied with the job. During the final walk through there were a few minor issues that I said I would take care of. Jerud refused to let me take care of them, he did. Our family was on vacation for a week and being a family man himself he understood our desire to get the work done while we were gone so the kids could nap without interruption. He quoted 2 weeks and surprised us with getting it done in one week so we wouldn't have interruptions to our kids schedule. I digress but I can't say enough positive things about Blake Brothers. Oh yeah, the workmanship goes without saying. Very skilled and no issues at all with that. Hire these guys if you don't want the headaches that come with most contractors. You won't regret it. One last thing, Jerud sent us pictures daily of the progress per our request which allowed us to discuss/plan/change on the fly. It's a little thing that went a LONG way while we were out of town during construction.

Jerud and Josh with Blake Brothers did an outstanding job for us. They communicated clearly to understand our needs, they walked through the entire project at length, and made sure we were comfortable with all options. Jerud was our main point of contact and he coordinated and/or performed the work throughout. He was always courteous, professional, and pleasant to interact with through the entire process. Blake Brothers did a great job on all their work, made sure we were satisfied as they progressed, and tested everything thoroughly to make sure everything worked. I would have no hesitation whatsoever hiring them again and recommending them. They provided high quality work, at a reasonable price, in a very timely manner. I couldn’t have asked for better service!
