Aaron Hanson is a perfectionist, is courteous and is simply a good, honest person. His employees are of the same caliber. They were a pleasure to have in my home for the time it took to do all this work. Aaron is a good manager and his staff work the entire time they are in your home. Due to circumstances, I needed work done right away and he was able to do enough to keep me sheltered until he could work me into his schedule. Not once did I ever have to clean up after them when they were done for the day. The results were stunning. I can't thank him and his staff enough.
Description of Work: Every inch of my 1800 sq.ft. home,(including all the woodwork, doors, and all the kitchen cabinets) was painted.

I could have done better work myself and I'm not a good painter. Even when asked to do the job right, the owner himself was unable to rectify the poor work done by his crew. Very disappointing as the owner is a nice guy, but not a good painter.

I believe this review was written by the customer after I refused to come out to estimate additional work he wanted done after the original contract was satisfied. I originally went over all the painting to be done with his wife and provided the estimate for interior and exterior painting to her. She called me back and said they would only like to have the exterior work done at this time. We scheduled the work on the exterior to coordinate with the awning company installing new awnings. The awnings were supposed to come down so we could paint the trim around the windows. There was a delay so we completed all the painting except for the trim around the awnings. I told the customer that after the awning were installed I would finish the touch up so we didn't have multiple trips to complete a couple hours of work. He agreed to this arrangement. The awning company delayed another week and the customer was getting irritated. He called me and said there was drips all over his house and my guys missed a lot of things. I was working a block away on another project so I met him immediately and walked around the house to address his concerns. There were a few drips of the black paint on the white siding of the house. I was able to clean them off with a wet rag and he was satisfied. There was a piece of trim Behind a downspout that my guys failed to get a second coat on. The customer said it looked like the paint was globbed on in this area and looked terrible. It was a two foot piece that was textured vinyl and had been painted multiple times before we painted it. I explained to the customer I thought he was splitting hairs and he insulted my integrity by saying it was terrible. I fixed the area by simply applying a second coat and the customer was satisfied. The other issue we had was with the front door. The customer Picked a deep red color for the front door. It was a deep based color that had coverage problems. The door had some light spots where the paint did not cover. I went back two additional times and coated the door both times at no extra charge. I asked the customer to come out and take a look to make sure he was satisfied with the work. He looked at everything and said it looked good. He thanked me for the work and wrote me a check for the painting. The customer told me himself that he was a nit picker and thanked me for finishing to his satisfaction. The customer called me a couple of weeks later and said he had some additional work for me. I let him know he would have to find someone else because I didn't think we could please him with our painting. I guess that is when he decided to write this review. I made a total of four extra trips at no charge to make him happy and still did not succeed. I think the customer is difficult to please and would find something wrong with things done to perfection. I even saw him at the local YMCA and he said nothing about being unhappy with the work. Him comments are insulting and completely inaccurate. Aaron Hanson Owner-Local Painters Inc.
