I hired this contractor to repair the sub-floor and then tile it in our guest bathroom. The first day the crew was late, an obvious preview of things to come. Once the job was completed I was furious. I called them and told them I was very unhappy with the job and wanted it fixed, they assured me they would send a crew out to take a look and repair things. I never heard from them again. The issues: The tiles were cut very jagged and some even cracked, then installed one cracked tile and promised me it would not show...it did. The floor transition piece, I purchased, had four parts to it, they only used two pieces, it continues to pop up showing the jagged tile. They damaged my walls, I have literally chunks missing from my drywall, I will have to repair and repaint. The trim work was put back up it SPLIT when they nailed it into the wall, they never bothered to cover the nails, so they show through. They did a horrid job on caulking around the tub and above the floor trim, its missing in some areas and in other areas the excess was WIPED ON THE WALL. There was grout all over the place, even on my walls and cabinet. I had to go over the floor 6 times and use a razor to get the rest of the grout off the tile. They reinstalled my toilet and it now moves. I will never ever ever use this company again. They may be the cheapest, but in the end you will be spending more money to have the job they did fixed. I wish I could attach pictures. Its a horrendous job. My nine year old could of done a better job.
Description of Work: Replace the guest bathroom subfloor and tile.

The experience was OK. They were a little late getting it done from the estimated time they told us, but there were some ( 0:08:46.2) sort of benches that didn't allow him to get it done on time, mainly weather. Other than that they were very kind and they tried to work as fast as possible. I decided to use them because they had good reviews. They are great for small jobs, maybe not for ( 0:09:21.2).
Description of Work: I have used Joe Somebody's Home Improvement for a basement remodel.

Bob came out the review the job and give an estimate. the price was very reasonable and he was able to start with in the next week. The contract stated that a $150 payment was due for every day of work with balance due at the work completion. He did not have a steady work crew, employees changed at least twice during the 3 -4 weeks. Bob did not know how to do any of the jobs and relied on his crew. The exterior house cleaning was shoddy and ruined sections of the wood. The crew wasted 3/4 of the sealer because it was applied too heavily on wood that had not been adequately cleaned. That all had to be redone by another company at the cost of $8000. The interior painting had to be redone by more experienced worker, and the exterior doors painting had to be redone by a new company. At the end of the job, I had paid by the day rate of $150.00 and still had work which needed to be redone or completed. The owner Bob, stopped returning my calls and did not refund any money. I would never recommend or use this company again.
Description of Work: multiple services including pressure washing house and applying sealer, roof repair, hanging storm doors, placing metal chimney cap on the fireplace chimney, laying tile in kitchen and bathroom, laying lineoleum in laundry room, painting interior walls and exterior doors, replace some drywall.
