Description of Work: The person that came to estimate the cost of the new roof was not very informative. He went on the roof and he gave me an estimate, but he seem to be in a hurry.

Description of Work: When I called Jackson roofing for an estimate on repair of my leaky roof, they told me there was a NON-REFUNDABLE fee of $75 to come out and give an estimate, which would be applied to the total in the event that I used them for the work. Needless to say, I did not have them come out. While they do offer a 10% discount on work, I feel they should not be asking for money upfront, no one else has ever done that in my experience! I would not recommend them.

We are very sorry to see that we upset [Member's name removed] with our service charge on repairs. We are located in Clarksville next to APSU. When we have a repair estimate we do have a service charge to cover the cost of gas and labor for the tech to come out. However while he is there the entire roof gets inspected and the service charge does go toward the cost of the repair. Cedar Hill is quite a distance from Clarksville. All repairs do have a minimum service charge.
