Description of Work: turned a pre-existing closet into a laundry room. Which required a double closet door instead of a single closet door, rewiring for electric, vent for dryer, and a light. ( We used our own plumber whom we paid seperately). We bought the doors.

Description of Work: Install a previously designed and blueprinted patio.

Description of Work: My wife and I hired Goff to remove plants and sod our front lawn. My first red flag that I ignored was that Goff required 50% up front to do the work. The plants were removed but a lot of roots and other debris was left behind. Goff sprayed the front yard to kill the grass but it tool so long for him to come back that the grass was starting to grow back. When he did come back the lawn wasn't prepped properly, this from other landscapers not me. The grass was taken up but there was no soil put down, they didn't moisten the soil and they didn't go over the lawn with a roller. Again, these requirements are coming from other landscapers on how to properly lay sod. Goff said we didn't water enough but we went from averaging 2700 gallons of water consumption per month to over 14,000 gallons one month and just over 12,000 gallons the next month. That is his only answer is that we didn't water enough. Another red flag that I should have heeded was that he told me that he had another customer that was taking him to court for the same issue that we would eventually have. I filed a Better Business Bureau but there was no resolution. Only through our hard work and additional money has our front lawn come back. He actually had the nerve to come to our house to take picture to tell the BBB that the lawn looks great except in a few areas. It looks great because WE fixed his terrible work.
