Description of Work: Our generator went out during a rain storm, they were here to fix it with 1/2 hour. Only a fused that needed to be replaced. Great service, once again from Dunn Electric.

Description of Work: My triple light switch popped and smelled like smoke so I called DES about 9:40 AM Terri said they were busy and she would touch base with me soon. withing 10 minutes she called and had a tech on the way. They started work as soon as they arrived and continued until finished. Then, they followed up on another electrical question I had and they will reserach the situation and provide me an estimate.

+ -1 moreWe were having surges and dim lights at times with lines in the TV when we turned on the wall switch in the living room. The fact that we found aluminum wiring in the circut box connection was a bad ohmen to us. The gentleman who came out checked the circut box and said it was not of good quality and needed replacing. He gave us and estimate that remained factual on completion. With no pressure he simply said to call the office and scedule the work if we dicied we wanted the job done by his company. He tightened some of the aluminum wiring connections and said that was part of the problem. We found that the person who had done the wiring for the house in 1991 was the same person who inspected the wiriing. This should have been noticed when we paid for an inspection of the home when we bought it in 2001. When he had completed the job he called the local inspector who came out to give his check up and approval of the work done. This is the form of profesionalism I like to see. The expression, "Thats how we do things in Texas." is quite deserving in this case.
Description of Work: Explained why I was having problems with my electrical system in a very informative and knowledgeable manner. Replaced Power Box and the aluminum wiring with new copper wire. Installed a Surge protector with a lifetime warranty. The new power box is an upgrade from the old one and we have a 24/7 number to call if we have any problems with our Electrical System! The Electician was a well qualified & professional man with adeqate credentials and experiance. A quality that I find lacking in many services in the Clarksville area. This is a company I shall call for future Electrical service.

+ -1 moreI am completely having to redo my basement as the previous owner had it partially finished and the person they paid do the work could not even be called a handyman. When I tore down the drywall from the ceiling. The entire electric line running power to lights and one plug literally fell and was hanging about 5 inches above my head. There were splices off of splices off of splices. They came out looked it over and then emailed me an estimate within the day. The job was done very well. They gutted everything and completely re-ran all the lines. It looks clean much better than before. They even ran it to the spare room in the basement and did not charge me extra. They were very professional.

+ 1 moreThey were on time if not early for each visit. The entire staff from the dispatcher to the electricians were very nice and polite. The Electricians were the same pair each time so you didn't have to re-explain what you wanted over and over. The Electrician was also great at going over options and make suggestions based off of his experience as well as listening to what I was thinking. I know sometimes folks are hesitant to give opinions because they don't want the customer to feel pressured into anything, but they really did a great job of ensureing what I wanted was done at best price. Their work, efforts and suggestions were well worth the cost.
Description of Work: Ran the wiring for a flood light and a ceiling fan on a covered decl. Then after the carpenter finished, they came back installed both the fan and the flood light.

+ -1 moreThey were on time which was nice. They were just really friendly people. They were in my house for several days so it was nice to feel comfortable with them being in there. They cleaned up all the mess. I knew it was going to cost a lot and I was prepared to spend that much.
Description of Work: Dunn Electrical Service ran some new outlets, they changed out our electrical box and put a new one in, and they ran a new line for my dishwasher and my microwave. They did quite a bit of work for us.

Description of Work: They installed new outlets in my garage, ran wires to accomidate placements and added circuits to my box. Both gentlemen, the one whom gave me the estimate and one providing service, we thoughtful of my time and budget.
