Scott's Plumbing And Ditching

I called several companies on Good Friday of 2013 to come out and help me figure out why water was raining from the pipes in my basement and overflowing into the bathroom. Of the four companies I called, Scott Carter was one of three to call me back and was the only one who could come out the following morning as opposed to the beginning of next week. Scott called me the following morning at 9AM as he said he would and asked for directions to my house. He told me he would be out in about 30-45 minutes. He ran a little late, but did arrive around 10:15AM. It took him about a minute to diagnose the issue (pipes were clogged) and proceed to help me remedy the situation. Fortunately for me, there is a clean-out drain as the drainage pipe leaves my home, which allowed Scott to get his snake and clear out the offending tampons that were causing the issue (thanks, girlfriend...). There is a T-Joint outside my house that was not properly sealed when it was installed and a root has grown into the small crack and expanded, causing havoc. Cost me $125 for him to come out on a holiday weekend and fix the issue, which sounded fine for me (about what I expected to pay). He quoted me a price in the ballpark of $350 if I wanted him to come back out and fix some of the other plumbing issues (leaks and the T-Joint), which I will most likely be doing when I get the chance. Scott and his worker were very nice and respectful men. They had a quality to them that let you know you could trust them and their knowledge. Would definitely recommend.
