Description of Work: I have been waiting since August for him to come and paint. The money was paid to Angie back in July/August timeframe. I have contacted him on several occasions and he never showed up, didn't call and I am out the $99. I am filing a claim against Angie's and the BBB for failure to deliver as agreed upon.

Description of Work: They never scheduled a date to come out to paint the room after we paid for it. I suggested several dates a few weeks in advance but they never came out and they never suggested an alternative date. I paid for a special deal thru Angie's List and the service provider may not have wanted to drive so far for only a $99 job. Angie's list was able to refund my money, so they stood behind the special deal they offered. We had the job done by another painter.

Description of Work: I purchased the $99 one room paint special. Nichols was to have contacted me by Tuesday of the following week; HE DID NOT. On Wednesday, after Angie's List contacted him, he emailed me his phone number. I called him and he told me he was on vacation and would contact me when he returned to set up a time to come look at the job. He never called. That was two weeks ago. He apparently is not interested in doing the work and I don't trust him to do the job now anyway. I would like a REFUND.

Description of Work: He did a no show no call. We made an appointment for Thursday May 28th. He said he would be around 7:30 or 8:00 pm. He did not call and he did not show. This to me is very unprofessional. So if you want to hire or get an estimate from Charles Nicholas don't waste your time and definitely do not hire Charles Nicholas if he treats you this way. I guess your time to met with him is not important.

+ 0 moreWe furnished the paint to make sure that the paint would not be cut as previous painters had done He followed our wishes and made several helpful suggestions He prepared both the interior and exterior surfaces. before painting. His attention to detail was impressive. Has a long background in painting. He takes pride in his work and is very skillful. He is pleasant to be deal with. He is very knowledgeable about the quality of paint and how to apply it. Above all he is honest. We have had the house painted 5 times over the past 25 years and this is the best and highest quality job we have ever had.
Description of Work: Painted the exterior and interior of our home plus a gate He cleaned our kitchen and bathroom cabinets. The Rutt cabinets were white when new but had yellowed due to a poor quality sealing coat.
