Ed cam out to my house and explained to me what had to be done to get the problem solved. I called around and he wasn't the cheapest and he wasn't the most expensive but you had that feeling that he was the kind of guy that would do you a good job and not take advantage of people. Ed came out on Nov 14 and started the job. He started digging with his backhoe and found that I had collapsed pipes about 30 ft going from the septic tank to the field beds. He replaced the pipes wth pvc pipe. Ed was there from about 8:30 am to about 5 pm. he was there all day and very patient. He came back a couple of weeks and finished up the pipe going from the house to the septic. He straighten out the drain lines in the basement and fixed them like they needed to be. He cleaned up covered up his work before he left. I would recommend him to anybody and I will be using him again if needed

We discovered water leaking in a portion of our house and could not find the source. It was the end of the week before Labor Day and we were very concerned that we would not be able to get it fixed before the holiday. We called Ed after searching Angie's List for someone reputable. Because of his busy schedule Ed did not think he would be able to get to us at first, but he did manage to work us in. When he came out and discovered the problem he suggested to us that the water heater might still be under warranty and we should check on that before going out and buying one. We did and it was still under warranty. This saved us quite a bit of money and we appreciated his advice. Unfortunately for Ed, our attempt to get a replacement water heater from this company turned into somewhat of a nightmare for us. Ed was definitely inconvenienced by all this and did help us throughout the process. I hated that he had to be inconvenienced and compensated him above what he wanted to charge us because of the inconvenience. The only problem with using Ed's service is that he is so busy that it is difficult for him to work you in. When we had a second problem after the water heater and requested his help he told us he would get back with us after we ordered the part we needed and I let him know when we got it and it took him a couple of weeks to get back to us. We had already solved the problem. So I felt like we saw the good and not so good side of this business. I do not fault Ed for being busy, I am glad his business is doing well. But I think when you tell someone you will call them back you should not wait two weeks to do it. That is not very professional and ultimately can hurt a business person's reputation. I would recommend Ed because of the fact that he does good work and if you can catch him at a time when he has time he will do a good job and his prices seem reasonable.

He arrived right on time, and was very polite and professional! He even got us a slight discount with the septic & grease tank pumpings!

Ed replaced toilets in 3 bathrooms, and installed an additional one in the new bathroom I was adding to the house. He ended up running a new sewer line directly to the sewer line at the curb. I found Ed ver personable and easy to deal with. I have a lot of respect for his knowledge of plumbing. He came highly recommended to me from several sources as I did not know anyone in the area. I would most assured call him again with any plumbing issues.

My experience with Ed and Ed's Plumbing was a very positive one. I recently purchased and moved into a house built in 1957. I was experiencing problems with several of the toilets, but all of the other plumbing items seemed to be draining properly. I had never used Ed's Plumbing before, but I had seen his distinctive truck, a converted EMS vehicle, around town for years, and I decided to check his standing on Angie's List. I was encouraged by what I saw and decided to give him a call. Ed is very straight forward and professional, and I felt comfortable engaging him for this project. As it turned out, my impression a correct. Ed replaced one toilet completely, and replaced the fill valves in two of the other toilets. As he performed his tasks he explained the available options, and he explained what he was doing and why. He also showed me what he was discovering along the way. I am comfortable that the work he did was necessary and done correctly, and the items he replaced needed to be replaced. I haven't experienced any plumbing problems since Ed completed his work. I'll certainly use Ed's Plumbing for future plumbing projects, and I have already recommended him to my friends and neighbors.

The job went as promised. Ed was on time and professional. The trench for the new line was covered after the installation of the new water line in the driveway and was raked and graded. The work under the house was very professional and quickly performed. Ed was prompt and hard working and even though he ran into a couple of problems he had not foreseen, the quote for the job remained the same. Ed even used his backhoe to remove and old basketball goal from the property that had been concreted into the ground at no extra charge to me. Overall a pleasant and professional experience. I will definitely be using Ed's plumbing again.

Ed Listed to what we wanted to do and did his best to meet or exceed our expectations. He solved problems quickly and kept us informed of progress of the 8 plumbers we have used, he is the best.

Ed was very business like, personable, and efficient in each step of the way. The whole job was done in less than 7 hours, with the water being shut off for less than 2 hours. Ed also installed a circulator so there is hot water almost immediately at each faucet. A job well done. Thank you Ed.

Ed came today to fix all of my plumbing needs. He was on time and got right to work. He was friendly and very knowledgeable in his craft..It was so great seeing the new faucet being put in , it makes my kitchen look so much nicer..Taking out the old faucet uncovered a hidden nest of ants, little black ones..lots of them...we sprayed them with pledge and it killed them. He then removed my old toilet and put in the new one...I looks just wonderful... I am soon going to have the waterlines replaced in the rest of the house he will be the man i call for the job.. When i first called to inquire about getting him to come to my home i had asked if they come to my town, and i was so relieved to find out that they did...Actually i called another plumber first and then went to angies list and saw the write-up about Ed Plumbing and i called and cancelled my other appointment with the other company, as they didnt get great write-ups...I am so pleased with what he did in my home...and relieved to know that there is someone i can depend on to fix my plumbing from now on. He was very reasonably priced also.. A-plus job and price..cant beat that... I talked to Ed's wife to make the appointment and she was very friendly and so helpful...very comfortable to talk to..an overall great job by them..

This is the only plumber my parents and I will use.

Went as planned. Mr. Ed (not the horse) was able to complete the job ina short time. He dug the new ditch, installed the pipe, made the connections at the water meter and inside the house--no fittings in-between.

Finally I found a plumber that 1) called me back when he said he was going to 2) Showed up on time on the day he said he would be there 3) Got right to work and didn't waste any time 4) was very careful not to do any more cutting my walls than was absolutely necessary. 5) Didn't overcharge me for his services I was very lucky to have found Ed's Plumbing Service. His prices are reasonable and his service is outstanding. What more can you ask for ? I will never use any other plumber. I just hope Ed never retires.
