Ed's Plumbing

Ed did a remarkable job. He installed all new water lines, water heater, with a water pump and tank ( we have gravity water). He had an Electrican that was excellent, too. He and his crew (2 young men) did this all in one day!! His price ( $4000.00) was very fair and if I have any other plumbing work to do in the future, Ed's Plumbing is the only company that I will use.

I called Ed on a Monday morning after my high water alarm went off on Sunday evening. I called before normal business hours, left a message and within 15 minutes I received a return call. Ed and his assistant Diego made a trip to my residence that afternoon to access the situation. The pump in my septic tank had burned out. Ed removed the faulty pump and made a call to locate a replacement. Ed put the septic tank back into a temporary working state until he could get the new pump. Ed returned Friday afternoon with the new pump. The pump worked great; but in the final check, a problem with the check valve was found as well. Ed put the system back into a temporary working state once again and made one final trip the following Monday to replace the check valve. He returned Monday morning with a much better valve than was originally installed. Everything is now working great. Ed and Diego did a great job and kept me informed every step of the way. Communication was great - Ed always answered the phone or called back quickly after I left a message. Ed's price was very fair. My septic system uses a very expensive pump style ($1200) which accounted for over half the price of the service - that cost is out of his hands. I will be calling Ed again for any future plumbing needs.

Price was a tad on the high side but very pleased with workmanship, friendliness, and professionalism. Will use again for our basement remodel work.

Ed fit us into his schedule and was able to come to our house within a couple of days of our contacting him. On the first day he did show up later in the afternoon after telling us he'd be there in the morning. He and his assistant had to dig through sewage saturated ground to get to our sewer pump, which ended up being an older model that was no longer in production, leading to a discrepancy in the estimated quoted amount. Because he had to go get a new pump after digging ours up and assessing the situation, Ed had to come back a second day several days later to finish the job. Ed and his assistant worked diligently all day until the job was complete. I would recommend Ed to anyone needing a plumber.

At first he was a little hard to get a hold of and we set up a couple diffrent times to meet but he kept having to reschedule. Finall we got togther and he fixed what was needed.

He's fantastic. He does what he says he's going to do. I chose to use him because of word of mouth.

Ed show up on schedule and called when he left last job to give us an exact arrival time. Job was completed in a reasonable time and the work was good quality. Ed is always a pleasure to have in the house.

It went very well. Ed was prompt, courteous, professional, clean and fast. Ed knows what he is doing and handles the job as if it were his own home he is working on.

Ed was late but apologized profusely. Very friendly, very professional. Quickly assessed what was wrong and got it fixed.

The hot water pipe burst in the mud room that connects to the washing machine. I called Ed and he did a great job of calling me back and provided a follow up call on the day of the appointment before coming over. Ed and his helper Diego were prompt, cheerful & courteous. They even helped me shovel snow so we could get around the house to the crawl space. They also mopped up the water around the washing machine when Ed discovered the washing machine had also been damaged by the freeze. Ed and Diego went above and beyond the call of duty. This is the first time I have worked with Ed's Plumbing and I will use him again the next time I have a plumbing issue. Ed was prompt, under budget, professional and tidy. Two thumps up.

Ed showed up on time, did the job in timely manner, and charged a fair price.

We woke in the morning with no hot water. Called Ed at half past 7 and he was here by 9. He was very punctual and extremely helpful. We had to order the parts to repair the unit, which I was able to pick up later during the day. They were kind enough to return later the same afternoon to install the new control board so we could have hot water tonight! They were absolutely fantastic! 10 out of 10!

The job was done in a timely fashion . Ed was very accommodating, professional, and did a good job cleaning up. I would definitely use him again!

It went great - Ed arrived on the day he said he would. He is very professional, explained in detail how the job would be done and why it was done that way. Had the proper tools and took measurements throughout the job to insure the sewer line had the right pitch. The job was performed by Ed and one helper. The helper was a hard worker and stayed busy the entire time. As far as pricing I got 3 estimates and Ed's price was in the middle. So I feel the price was reasonable. I had some other plubming questions while he was here and he gave me advice and said if what he told me did not work give him a call back and he would be glad to help. He appeared to be very knowledgable and very well organized. As far as I can tell my sewer line is working just like it should. Ed also stated if there were any problems call him and they would be addressed. I do not expect to have any issues with the job he did.

Ed came same day he was called. After checking the system he asked that we get the tank pumped and gave us a person to use. They were good to work with, showed up next morning and pump the tank with no issues. Ed came back later in the week and replaced the sewer tank pump. Only issue with Ed is he is very busy but he worked us in. Great service and I would definitely recommend and use again.

Ed did a fantastic job and was very professional. After he fixed my leaking water heater I had him look at an issue with a washing machine hook up that was also leaking. He took a few extra minutes with the hookup and all it needed was tightening which he did not charge me for. I have some fixtures that I need replaced soon and I will be calling Ed back!

He was great and did a good job. It was very difficult to fix. He was very professional and a very nice person. I couldn't say anything bad about him. He was on time. His work was good. He was very professional.

Started in rain ended in sunshine. Did execellent job and clean-up great, given wet ground. Done in about 6 hrs. Would hire again.. great attitude...

Repaired leak in outdoor water line

What we thought was a repair job ended up being a replacement and entailed a lot more work. It was very rainy during this time and Ed had to work at times in a lot of mud. The septic tank and all outside pipes were replaced. A meter was added in case of future breakdowns. He did a top notch job with his work and kept me involved every step of the way what was going on. I think the current system will last a long time. I felt the cost was reasonable for the work done.

Ed was really fantastic. He was competent, thorough, conscientious, and professional. I couldn't have asked for better service. I would strongly recommend Ed's Plumbing.

Ed came and repair leaky faucet in the shower. At the same time he checked the bathroom faucet for repair also. Since the sink was outdated, no faucet was available. Ed ordered and replaced faucet and sink. Ed was very professional and was on time for when he said he would come. He offered suggestions and was very pleasant. Although we did not expect to replace sink, felt confident that he was honest in his review and was thankful that he was willing to get the replacement for our needs. I would highly recommend Ed to anyone. You can not get good honest hard working people better than Ed.

After returning home on 11/18/2012 I find my house full of smoke. Upon searching I find that the water heater has caught on fire. I cut the electricity to it and immediately got on Angies List to find a reputable plumber. I phoned Ed's Plumbing who had good reviews. Ed stated he had a cancellation and would be happy to service the water heater at 11:00 am on Monday, 11/19/2012. He arrived with help 15 min early with a new water heater. The work was done in 3 hours and he also fixed a leak in my other bathroom. Offered to remove old water heater. Professional, polite and trustworthy. I would refer to friends and family.
