Barrett's Tree Service

Never showed after I had already been rescheduled multiple times yes things happen but the least they could do was call. When they finally showed up they wanted more money. I paid a deposit i never got back.

I reached out to Barrett's to get an estimate on a tree I needed to have cut down. I had an appointment setup and rearranged my schedule to be available. They never showed... never called... I realize things come up and sometimes appointments must be moved. However to have an appointment and not show up or call is inexcusable.

.I had a large tree in my front yard that was almost completely dead, and I wanted it removed. I called Barrett's and explained the problem: the tree was in a tight corner of my fencing, and I did not want the fencing damaged or removed. Gregg Barrett set a time to meet me the next day. He arrived right on time, surveyed the problem, and gave me a price. After my approval, he gave me a date and time. Again, he arrived exactly on time along with two helpers, a bucket crane and a tracked machine that picked up branches and logs. In less than two hours the tree was gone, all the debris had been moved to a distant area in the woods of my large property, the gravel driveway had been smoothed where the tracked machine had disturbed it, and even the sawdust had been blown away from the blacktopped portion. I was impressed, to say the least.

.Barretts Tree Service is a local company owned and operated by Greg Barrett. The job was to cut and remove a large maple tree. The tree was close to my house, outbuilding and the power line. This was a difficult job. Mr. Barrett and his men did it flawlessly. The charge was about 20 % below the nearest quote. If I had a difficult job like this I would call on him again.
