Two Men and A Truck

I would give 0 stars if I could! I was told OVER AND OVER the holding fee for a truck to hold my stuff was $250 a day. Magically, when I got my quote, it was $1400!!!!!! Are you kidding me? They couldn't even explain a valid reason. Shady, unprofessional! Awful. Do not work with them. I got another company to do the exact same job for $2000 less!

Do not trust this company's word that they will complete the job. We had a great experience with them in 2015, but things have changed recently. The company approved the job, confirmed the job, and even approved it upon walk-through. They started the move, which begins the hourly cost, and then stopped and informed us that they could not complete the job. It's a long story, but in the end, they made me (a small woman) do a significant amount of the moving while 3 men watched, while billing us at their full hourly rate. They damaged some pieces; and made me pay for an hour when there was a disagreement and we were waiting on management to call back. I filed a complaint with corporate, who kicked it back to the local office. They are not going to reimburse one bit of the money. We will never use Two Men and A Truck again. Beware! I recommend calling different moving companies.

They did a great job. Very professional and punctual. No surprises. Would hire again.

I had them move furniture around my house and to the garage. They were great.

Hired to move heavy appliances and large bedroom furniture--everything was performed as promised with no damage to any items. Would hire again if needed.

Adam and Rocko were fantastic. They were careful with our belongings but also really hustled to get the move done quickly. We had items at our apartment and another location that needed to be picked up before we could deposit everything at our home and they accommodated us with no problem. We had a small upright piano to move to the second floor of our home. They were able to get it in quickly with just the two of them. I was floored that they were not charging us extra for moving a piano like many companies do. We thought the whole process would take about 5 hours but they did it in 3, saving us time and money! Pricing was very reasonable. I would hire them again in a heartbeat!

They did really well. They were professional and they did a really good job. It was over a two to three day move to another state. Everything was good.

This is the third time I have used Two Men and a Truck. This time it was to move me from my house in Tennessee to my house in Georgia. As always, they are timely, take care loading and unloading my furniture. The guys I had even carried things to the basement of my new house. They did a lot of work and did a great job!

Had a bedroom set delivered that was heavy and required assembly. That showed up within 24hrs. With tools and went right to work. Did a great job. Quick and on time! Thanks!

Two Men and a Truck were very responsive setting up the move and handling the replacement for the bolts to the refrigerator door which did not make it to TN. The movers were very friendly and helpful. My one complaint was the guys were rushing at the end because they wanted to get dinner and get on the road. I was not as prepared as I should have been and in the rush, some of the things that should have been loaded on the truck didn't make it. I consider part of that my fault. I was also tired and not able to direct them as I should have.

The first team assigned to us included two inexperienced movers. This slowed down progress and frustrated the lead mover and eventually led to one of our boxes being 'rolled' up the steps. It contained tools and a hanging hardware organizer. My wife confronted the movers and they defended this practice and indicated it was the proper way to move it since the box was heavy. They did not attempt to use a hand truck, just rolled it end over end up the stairs. Obviously, the box was a mess when we finally unpacked it, with contents everywhere. Thankfully, there was nothing breakable in the box (even though it was marked 'Fragile'). We called to complain and received a new team of experienced movers and they were great. Two Men management handled this very well. However, we lost a lot of time in the transition (the original team retreated to the truck after being chastised). Overall, the move took over twice as long as estimated (we had to hire another set of movers for another day since the move still wasn't completed in 10 hours). Recall that the original estimate was for 5.25-7.25 hours. We used the other set of movers for about 6 hours on a subsequent day. Disappointed in Two Men and a Truck overall!! Would not use again.

The two movers, Josh and John, were from the Pinehurst Road, Chattanooga location. They were sent to our home to move furniture on 4/25/2015. The Shallowford Road, Chattanooga office made all the arrangements. Josh stole $200.00 from us. He was given this money to apply towards the cost of the move, but never turned it in to the office. We contacted, Bobbi, at the Shallowford Road location immediately on Monday, April 27th, when I noticed the charge on my card was $200 more than what Josh had stated. Bobbi indicated that Josh denied taking the cash and she could do nothing to resolve this issue, advised us to just call the police. Two Men and A Truck intend to keep a thief in their employment. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

Gave them a B for price only because there are cheaper movers in town, but sometimes you get what you pay for! Excellent job on a local move. We paid for the third guy just because we wanted to be sure we got everything out of a 4 bedroom house with 2 bonus rooms into a home with similar set up. The guys were so professional...took great care of our stuff...prompt and courteous. Took them about 8 hours. And even though we were paying by the hour, trust me, they were working non stop. No loafing around! I think I had a coupon out of the Kids First Coupon book for a certain percent off.

Wonderful! They were prompt. They were courteous. They were timely. They unloaded quickly. Everything was carefully moved. :)

They are very good. I have used them many times and would call them again.

Work was efficient. They had to carry heavy items up a difficult staircase. They did it quickly and were very professional.

The guys were great. They were right on time and get to work right away. We were only having our heavy furniture moved and they did it with speed and care. It took a total of 3 hours and we couldn't have been more pleased. There were the same hiccups that happen in every move and it was to be expected, so no big deal.

I called in the morning on the 11th and asked if they could do the job that day, I was told that as soon as they finished their 1st run they would come to pick up the furniture. They arrived even earlier than expected and picked up the furniture. Before backing the truck into my drive they requested permission in case the truck ran off the driveway, if it was ok. My driveway is like a snake and difficult for a large truck. They moved the furniture in and did everything requested. I was very pleased. I had contacted several movers trying to get the furniture moved. I believe part of the difference in 2 men and a truck is that they have a receptionist and you aren't talking to someone that is trying to move in furniture and schedule an appointment at the same time. Much more reliable.

It was the whole thing and it took them hours. Their service was slow-paced. They were doing it by the hour too. Their pricing is a little bit high. They scratched a few things but for the most part, they were pretty good.

The movers were very polite and did a good job moving the furniture. Nothing was broken and nothing was lost. They were very professional.
