Two Maids & A Mop

Two Maids and a Mop Chattanooga will not return my calls or texts, so my only option seems to be to warn others. They told us we could request the same team again, but two people I requested were not available the next months. I never know who is coming to my home. I have never had the same team twice. The list of tasks we supplied upon request was never entirely completed. We called and messaged to reschedule twice - once for a virus in the house and once for a funeral. Neither call or message was returned. They just don't show up. No calls, messages, emails - anything. I called and messaged multiple times with no response about suggestions for next time and our disappointment in December's service - streaks throughout the house on the wood floors, shower left disassembled for some reason, and dusting still not done. I regret to have to warn others with this frank review - and that this as my only available form of communication to inform Two Maids we are clearly forced to discontinue business with them.

On time and minimal noise.

The first time they came to my house they sent a team of two persons. They did a wonderful job, were polite and fast. I had them come on a day a had off work so I could work with them on how I like the house done and the products I like to use. I have had house cleaners in the past use the wrong product with disastrous results. When I spoke with the scheduler I made it clear that I wanted the same team each week and that I was staying home the first day they came. All was fine. The next time they came to clean they sent a whole new crew, who were informed somewhat correctly what to use on the floor. I also asked that they clean one extra bathroom upstairs since we had a guest stay overnight. My Husband was home the day they came. When I came home I was upset the same team didn't come and was told they did not clean the bathroom because it would cost more. I needed to purchase a different package.. I called and left a message with the company. It took over a week to call me back. I was not pleased with the response time. I didn't feel anything would change after the phone call. I have not used them since. Maybe others have had a great experience but I found the company's management lacking, but the individuals who cleaned where nice and efficient.

We have two dogs, one a German Shepherd, and a two month old baby. For anyone reading this, I want you to imagine having that combination at home. We have not had any type of "outside" cleaning since before my daughter was born. Granted we can keep things up by vacuuming, moping, dusting, cleaning glass, the overall cleanliness of the house was pitiful. I was raised in a very clean home. For me to have a GSD, is quite puzzling to me at times, but they are not exactly hypoallergenic creatures. In fact, Diesel makes up for the shedding that all the other dogs in the world claim not to do. The "hair balls" and "dust bunnies" that come from him are not the problem. It is dust over time, the dogs laying against the walls/baseboard, the fans especially (we run every fan, every day), all the trim work, light fixtures, random fixtures... every place I want clean, but don't want to put forth the effort. Growing up, before I could have friends come over for the day, or to spend the night, I had to dust my room, make up my bed, wash my laundry, vacuum all the trim, blinds, fan, etc., before they could come over. I grew up in a CLEAN HOME. I defy those rules now, but want a clean home as my room had to be. I understand at this point that is a mere hallucination probably from the baby crying and dogs barking, but it happened. I was completely amazed at how clean everything was. My wife was having a party that night, so they had set a time to come, and leave. That was very important, proving their punctuality and efficiency. I was like a kid in a candy shop, astounded. My wife actually got mad about my rambling about how nice it was. I highly recommend Two Maids and a Mop. Sara came to quote the day after I called, and Alyssa had everything lined up to make it happen on Thursday, two days after the quote! I will be using them again, and highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend their deep cleaning. Vents, fans, fixtures, baseboard, windows, cabinets, appliances... you name it. It is extraordinarily clean. Thank you guys. I know this is long, but I want everyone to know my "expectations" as my wife calls them, and the situation. You better give them a call!

I have been using Alyssa and her girls for almost a year now. (My first clean was on August 1, 2013). I don't usually do any kind of on-line reviews, but they are so nice and do such a good job every time... I highly recommend them! (In fact, I'm joining Angie's List so I can share what a how happy I am with their service.) I like their overall business model and enjoy their weekly on-line newsletter with cool cleaning tips. I've used another cleaning company in town in the past and Two Maids is by far the best in customer service, reliability, friendliness, cleaning, etc. I give them a 10 every time!

We use Two Maids for our house cleaning every 2 weeks. They do a great job and are always here when they say they will be here and quick to respond to any issues that may arise. I trust them in my home and know that it is being properly cleaned for my family. I definitely recommend them to others.

One of the housekeepers told me that she had tried to wipe down baseboards with a Magic Eraser and that the marks left were ones she couldn't get up. However, we used Windex All-Purpose cleaner and cleaned the entire house, and we're able to get almost all marks up. We had to clean the kitchen again because the cabinets were not touched, and the bathrooms and baseboards had to be redone as well. We paid for this service in an attempt to take some of the stress of moving away, and it ended up making it worse because not only did we have to move in, we also had to clean the entire house, top to bottom, after we expected it to be cleaned. To say we are disappointed would be an understatement. We will using another cleaning service for our biweekly cleans.

I have used Two Maids and a Mop for approximately 6 months and would definitely recommend them. I have had a few issues with cleanings (areas missed, etc); however, each time I bring something to their attention, the issue is addressed promptly and to my satisfaction. I have also gone for several months now with no issues, which is a welcome relief from my last cleaning service. I highly recommend Two Maids if you are looking for a cleaning service.

The job was done fantastically! No complaints. I love the advance notice the day before by mail. Can't wait for them to come back.
