+ -1 moreTom's carpet did an excellent job putting in hardwood floors throughout my mother's house replacing carpet and some old hardwood. Will was excellent to work with and it was very helpful in selecting color and particular floor. Their installation crew was excellent finished in a timely manner left everything in a neat condition. Would highly recommend Tom's to anyone.

+ -1 moreGreat people to deal with! Installer showed up early in the AM, moved furniture,removed old carpet, installed new carpet, and hauled old stuff off. They did a great job! Some houses may have to have the doorway heightened to let Joe in; he's about 6'5" :-)

Description of Work: We bought carpet from Tom's and they arranged installation of a stair runner. The stair runner would put in incorrectly. It took a few days to get Tom's to get the installer back out, but the installer fixed it and we were not charged for any additional carpet or installation.

+ -1 moreI thought it was great. Tom, who owns the store, waited on me. Of course, he is very knowledgeable and he helped me pick out heirloom rugs. He was happy to help me and had a very pleasing personality. He did the work for me, he ordered what I wanted, he found the carpet and he himself delivered it to me with a helper. I was very pleased and would go back to him in a second. I thought the carpet was very reasonably priced.
Description of Work: I last used Tom's Carpet Outlet within the month to make some rugs for me for a couple of rooms.

He and his partner were professional and completed the job in a timely fashion and catered to my special requests. The work was done well. I was pleased with the final product and felt I got excellent service for the price. I would defiinitely use them again.

Description of Work: Tom ctually owns Tom's Carparet and is such a good guy. I saw an ad in the paper for the business and drove to the other side of Chattanooga to see if he had what I wanted. My husband and I recently moved to the Chattanooga area and bought a house with wooden floors. We were looking for someone to bind carpet so we could use for the bedrooms to go under the beds and protect the floors. Tom's is THE BINDER in town and in fact does most of all the binding for other carpet folks. He has been the business over 30 yrs and truly knows his product. We were able to find a roll in stock and gave hime exact deminisions for each Carpet. The rugs were perfect and reasonable. In the dinning room we designed a rug with a border. Although a little more expensive, it was what we were looking for to complete that room. We had 4 costume rugs done for $1000.00. We definately will go back and just so you knw, Tom has never met a stranger and you will be his friend in about 10 minutes! Hats off to a company that still gives great costumer service and products!
