Oops - did that above with the other.
Description of Work: They cleaned the house, but would only clean floors that were totally clear of everything. If anything was in the floor they would not sweep. If any item was on a counter, they would not wipe. They were very expensive and over-booked the employees so that they had to rush through a home in less than 2 hours (for $145) and were very happy to use the we cannot move anything to clean under it excuse. They were actually punished for moving and cleaning under items. Had a year contract and as soon as it was up - the were fired!

We were just too pushed to do the cleaning we would like to do before our Christmas guests arrived. We cleared away any and all clutter to leave surfaces clear for cleaning. We only asked them to clean two bedrooms (out of four) upstaris that only needed dusting and vaccuuming. They were not even asked to change the sheets. My husband took the day off to be here with them. That is the reason they got paid. They would have to had taken me to small claims court to get the full amount. The two women managed to lightly clean two bedrooms (missed vaccuuming under the beds) two baths (one had been cleaned just a day or two prior to their "service"), and vaccuum the dining room. I could have done this myself in two hours. My main concern was our living area that consists of kitchen, eating area and living area with a hardwood floor. When I arrived home, they were leaving and told me to be careful because the floor was wet. I was standing on a throw rug; why was a throw rug on a wet floor? If there was any wet floor to be had, it must have been a spot next to the door for show. Our two dogs' bowls are on rugs underneath the overhang of our kitchen island at each end. I picked up one of the cotton rugs and shook out about a quarter cup of dried food bits. Shook out the other - same thing. There is a freestanding cherry wood corner shelf in this room that had things sitting on it, but not clutter. That was not touched. Upon inspection, they had not cleaned this room - not the floor not anything. This is a classic example of why you should pay by the job NOT by the hour. I consider what happened to us as a scam, not a legitimate service. One hundred eighty-six dollars is a lot to pay to have light cleaning in two bedrooms, two baths, run the vaccuum in the dining area (not dusted).
Description of Work: Dust and vaccuum two bedrooms, dining room and living room. Vaccuum and mop living room wooden floor.

We employed this company to clean our 2 story, 3200 sq ft home with 9-20+ foot ceilings. We have high kitchen cabinets, a lot of real and artificial greenery, ceiling fans, pendant lighting, and electronic devices. the company only cleans things that they can reach by hand (they will not use a step ladder or step stool in fear their cleaners will get hurt). According to the owners, they will not touch anything electronic or glass in fear it might break and they would have to replace it. Also according to the owners, they use a "woolie" to remove cobwebs but the woolie doesn't remove dust and they have an extension pole for the "woolie" on it but they don't send it with every clean (or even on the day their suppose to do a "detail" clean). They also say they use their own cleaning supplies but somehow my cleaning supplies got moved to different spaces or ended up missing (i.e. swiffer duster cloths). As far as my greenery they advised me how easy it would be for me to "take it outside and hose it off". On the first cleaning the ladies lowered the thermostat from the set 73 degrees to 69 degrees where it remained for the entire day. When this issue was brought up to the owner he said "they are not to touch the thermostat" and a couple of minutes later said "if they lower the thermostat they are to return it to the original setting before they leave". So which is it? When we called for them to come out and check/re-do some things (which they said in writing they would do) they said they couldn't see what we were talking about or said that they "don't clean those". In fairness they did re-do some things. An example of this was we have microfiber couches which did not get vacuumed on a "detailed" cleaning day. They said the reason they didn't vacuum it originally was because "they didn't know about that fabric so they didn't want to do anything to harm it". When I called the night before what was suppose to be our 3rd clean, Mr. Harrison was rude and told me that he thought we expected more than the average cleaning company will do and that he actually lost money on our first 2 cleans. He also let me know how many times he had to come back out to the house to check or redo things. We mutually agreed that they would not return. By the way I had some items that ended up missing from the home after the very first clean. We bought a lock box and had to put things away before the second clean.
Description of Work: House cleaning partially done in 2 1/2 bathrooms, 1 master bedroom, dining room, living room, eat-in kitchen and den.

The cleaning was OK except they broke something & never paid for or replaced it. Total disregard for customer. Owner/Management service was HORRIBLE, like I have never seen. First, they rarely returned any phone calls & then they stopped coming altogether without notifying me. Details: I was supposed to be on a schedule for monthly cleanings. They never came when they were scheduled to. After not showing up, I had to call to see what happened. If I was able to speak to someone, they said they were still working the schedule. Then, one time staff showed up at my home one morning unscheduled & I had to reschedule. The owner never called me back to reschedule. I finally got in touch with him & he said, well you turned my staff away so I thought you didn't want us to come back. I said that was not my intent & just wanted to reschedule. He said "I sent staff out there & had to pay them". Apparently he just decided he didn't need my business & canceled me without bothering to notify me!
Description of Work: Typical housecleaning/maid service. Cleaned each room, including floors, counters, surfaces, etc.

I accepted the price of $79 for a complete cleaning plus $35 for the initial clean, and scheduled a day almost two weeks ahead and a time "between 10:30 and 11:00 am". On the scheduled morning, I waited but 11 a.m came and went, no show and no call. When I called her to find out what was going on, all I got was lots of excuses. I declined to re-schedule. I won't call them back. ($114.)
