Ted Fugunt Heating and Air Conditioning

We are extremely pleased with the new HVAC system (Carrier) provided by Ted Fugunt Heating & Air. We give them 5 star on Price, Professionalism and Customer service! We had a Carrier system for over 21 years that gave super service then it started showing signs of age, threrfore, we started looking for a new Carrier system. We chose to stick with this brand based on our experience! We contacted Ted Fugunt Heat & Air, after reading the reviews regarding their superior customer service. Since the company is the authorized dealer of Carrier in our area, we had an added comfort of their technical ability as a good installer. Blake, the installation tech, came earlier to check the old system and recommended the unit that would best fit our desired needs. Price: We had taken 3 estimates of the same unit and this company gave us the Best value. The system installed is very quiet, and providing us relief from this scorching heat. Punctuality: Blake and Jeff arrived the day when the temperature was extremely Hot! Earlier, Blake told me that despite the extreme heat their main concern is to bring relief to their customers, therefore, they would come on the scheduled day and install the system as quickly as possible – the statement itself says a lot about their Professionalism as a customer oriented company. Customer Service: Blake and Jeff were very Professional, Polite, Personable, and Knowledgeable. They answered all our questions and concerns and gave us tips on how to operate the thermostat efficiently. We would highly recommend the company to our friends.

Heat pump was always using aux heat, which was running up the electrical bill. Blake came with another member to inspect. I would have had to replace the heat pump, so I went with a complete replacement. Blake sent several recommendations. I was able to call and get a quick response. I decided to go with the hybrid electric/gas. Blake sent out a crew on Feb 14th which was within a week of me calling on the initial problem and me deciding on which recommendation to go with. I have been very pleased with the unit and would use them again.

Only got estimates for the work. Asked for both total replacement estimate and repair estimate. Only received total replacement estimate. When asked about the repair estimate vendor said he was still working on it and never heard back from them. Got the impression they were only interested if it was a total replacement which I considered a high estimate.

They arrived on-time and were very through on the maintenance performed.

Ted, the owner came out personally to give me a quote on the job. He also had to call an electrician in, as my house only had a 100 amp fuse box. He was VERY accommodating and friendly. I found that all of his workers were courteous and used shoe covers and good manners while at my house. They were done with a VERY LARGE job in a short amount of time. Ted had to cut a NEW hole in the ceiling to get the new unit in the attic. While this was being done part of the sheet rock was torn. Ted came back HIMSELF to fix the sheetrock and make sure that everything was PERFECT. He also saw that I had a hole on my wall where the floor installers had nicked it and he fixed THAT, too while he was there! I can't say enough about the service and just the big heart that this man has for his customers.

I started with his father and his father taught him everything about the business. I will use him again in the future.

I just like the guy. He knows what is going with you. He takes his own time with his patients unlike many other doctors. His staff is polite, and I have not had any problems. His nurse seems to be very efficient. She gets things done when I call her.

I found some leaks in air ducks in the basement. I call and had them replace the 14 year old duck tape to stop wasting energy to my crawl space and other areas

Punctual, fast and efficient

When I turned on the heat for the first time since spring, it did not fire up. I could see the pilot burner on. I call Ted Fugunt, they sent a technician that day to check it out. He checked the pilot burner, which had a spark, but the switch would not function to turn on the flame assembly. The unit is 18 years old, and the tech informed me that he would need to replace the sensor assembly. The part was ordered and installed in two days.

The conversion went very well and they removed old units plus cleaned up. They fixed the transition duct and mated it directly to the old duct.

They are a very professional and a somewhat reliable company to use. They are very neat and they clean up well after they are finished.
