Description of Work: We wanted soapstone countertops and after getting estimates settled on The Stone Source because they are locally owned and have been in business for a long time here in Chattanooga. I was shown 3 soapstone slabs; all were beautiful, and after I picked one, a man came out directly and measured my counters with a laser device. I also ordered a new, heavy gauge stainless steel sink. It took 10 working days to fabricate the countertops. Installation day came and Stone Source arrived right on time and the installation went perfectly. I cannot detect the seams unless I really look closely. The counters are perfect and I love my huge,deep sink, too! I HIGHLY recommend the Stone Source. The cost was just what I had figured it would be from my online research. Very reasonable.

Description of Work: Customer service is horrible. Great quality of stone and wide selection. Just can't get anyone to return your call and when you have a contractor waiting on stone, that's important.

Description of Work: Although they are not cheap, they are indeed very well qualified and professional. We had a challenging bathroom to do as the shower was quite small and had an unusual dimension. I have never had service people who cleaned up so well every day. They were a delight to work with and definitely use them again.

+ 0 moreThe whole process went very well. Pros-- I was not sure of the colors or exact surface I wanted. He listened to what I did know I wanted in the way of durability, style, upkeep, etc. The floor was chosen first and then the countertop. The best part was this took about 20 minutes! He obviously listened and heard me and was able to discern my needs quickly. Cons--honestly cannot think of any. Was it expensive? Yes, but I got one on one help and exceptional quality products and installation. I knew if I had a problem all I had to do was pick up the phone or drop by the shop for help.
Description of Work: The owner helped me choose flooring and countertops for my kitchen.

This is my second job with them as hey also redid my fireplace exterior. Their people are clean, courteous and know how to work around the anomalies of an older home. Great service. Well worth the cost.
Description of Work: Worked with me to design and then installed new granite countertops, backsplash and wall tiles. They also replaced broken tiles on the floor.

Description of Work: Most informative and detailed craftsmen. They are neat , professional, and I would highly recommend them. They have a awsome showroom and staff. We used another company in our last house and it was horrible. If you want it done right call them.
