First, the delivery was late by about 45 minutes past our 2 hour window. They also had given the delivery people our old address even though we had our new address on everything. That was a small part of their late arrival, but the addresses are only a little over a mile apart. Apparently the freezer drawer was somehow damaged in the delivery since it had been fine in the store. So, there was about a 1/2 inch gap on the side keeping it from sealing. The water filer was also missing, and water leaked into the inside when we tried to use it. The delivery guy said that should go away when we got a filter. It didn't. I called about the freezer door within minutes of the delivery team leaving. It took several calls and a week to get a repair person out. He was helpful, but had to order parts which we had to wait another week on. We were given a 4 hour window to expect the return visit. About 2 hours in, we got a call from Sear's saying the tech would not be on time and they could not tell us how late he would be. I explained we had plans for later that evening and asked if we could reschedule. We were told that it would be another 9 days before they could reschedule. The girl on the phone basically said it wasn't their fault that things happen and that was the best they could do. We ended up waiting. He arrived about an hour past the end of the 4 hour window we had been given. He did get everything fixed pretty quickly with no problems.

Do not have them work on a dishwasher. They do not have the parts and don't have the training to do the job.
Description of Work: I had them to come out and work on my dishwasher. The technition was not familiar with dishwashers. When he removed the standing water in it, he did not check the hose and left water all over the floor. He then found a kink in the hose, cut it and tried to rehook it up to the disposal. It did not fit. He left the hose unhooked under the sink and did not plug the hole in the disposal. He said he would have to order a new hose and come back another time. When I used the sink later, all of the water drained under the counter. I had to plug the hole myself because he was already at home and did not want to come back out. When the part arrived, the new hose was only 4 inches long and the tech did not show up for the appointment. After calling Sears they said they would order the right part and reship it. The same 4 inch hose arrived yesterday. I called them to try to get a resolution, but all they could do was pass my phone call around until I asked for a manager and asked for a refund. The manager was very apologectic but that does not get the right part or my dishwasher fixed. I am now returning the parts and waiting on a refund.

Description of Work: I did purchase one year service plan which covered that day s service. Ice maker leak was freezing up fan. He was very nice very professional. He was familiar with the issue and fixed it quickly. Very happy with the job done.

They were great. Once you pay for the maintenance plan, there is nothing or very little to pay for any repairs. Once a year they check all your appliances to make sure it is in top working condition. If they can not fix your appliance they will replace it.
