+ -1 moreSo impressed with this provider of service. I have used them in the past including replacing an inside coil unit in the attic. They have always been prompt, reliable, and reasonable. This latest service call was a little confusing and tricky from a layman's perspective but the owner, David Lynn, made sure I understood everything involved in the process and even included a more than generous discount on part of the job to ensure there no hint of anything not above board. As previously stated, I have always trusted them in the past and so impressed by their actions today. Any heat or air trouble in the future will end with a call to Scenic City Heating and Air.

+ -1 moreThey competed favorably on price and details were negotiated. The new unit was installed including reattaching the 220 volt power line and gas line and all ducting. All work was performed satisfactorily in one day. When the gas company hooked in service to the house the next week the unit performed perfectly with no glitches at all.
Description of Work: Replaced a vandalized heavy duty hvac unit with a new unit including thermostat.

Description of Work: Hired a contractor for other services who referred me to his brother, the owner of this company. He came out to look and said it would take a few days for an estimate. Meanwhile, the contractor brother abruptly quit via text the morning he was supposed to start work, but since a new heat and air system was different, I continued to follow up. I've called twice. Once I spoke to the owner who said his secretary was supposed to send it out and he would make certain I had it the next day. I never did get an estimate.

Description of Work: Called them to repair HVAC unit that was not cooling in Sept 2010. Unit was going out of warranty, so I wanted it checked out for leaks and repaired if it was a warranty issue. Was told that unit was just low on freon. I asked if unit had leak, I knew it had to go somewhere, NO LEAKS from tech. When hotter weather came unit again would not cool. Called them back and ask if the could relook at unit. They wanted to charge another service charge to come back out to fix something they shouldve fixed in Sept. They finally agreed to come out and look at unit. Turns out the unit DID have leak and they wanted $700 to repair it (unit now out of warranty). I had another company repair unit for $250 (labor and freon) he worked with HVAC company and got warrantay coverage,
