There were lots of unanticipated challenges with my insurance company (as was the case for many around that same period of time). When the insurance company did not move quickly enough settling on the matter of final payment, Ronnie Rothwell of Rothwell Enterprises filed a mechanic's lien against my property. I was out-of-town during the period of completion. He knew that I was out-of-town and had been for most of the project. Upon returns to my residence and observations of the work done over time, it became very clear to me that he had cut lots of corners on this job. Example1: The gutters were suppose to have been replace and Ronnie even had someone out to provide quotes. Rather than replacing the gutters, as payment from the insurance company granted, he painted over the gutters. Example2: The roof was suppose to have been replaced. Ronnie instead placed new shingles atop the old roof and called it a day. Example3: The patio area was poorly put back together. The door was not properly inserted back into place and part of the carpet was not properly inserted in this area. Additionally, I never received the warranties for the work done, though I was told not to worry ... these items would be left at the property. The roof supposedly has a 25-year warranty, as well as, the garage (too was due to have a warranty of sorts). Final payment for the work was issued; yet, Ronnie claims (even today) that he never received the final payment ... My credit union confirmed the payment was transferred into his bank account. I, sadly, was not aware of this mishap until recently ... when going back to check up on my credit reports. Despite all the mishaps, I would NEVER recommend him for any jobs. This was a very difficult period of time and I wish that I could have and would have chosen someone other than Ronnie for this work. And, being out-of-town, I feel he took advantage of this opportunity.
Description of Work: I needed to have my roof replaced after the tornado of 2012 plus work done in the patio area. Additionally, I had my garage door replaced.

Nothing bad. We have been with them for twenty years; they have done some businesses for us so I guess we are happy with them. Their prices are very competitive. They are very responsive, they come and do whatever we want. I supposed like every other contractor they tell you they will finish it within one week and it becomes two weeks and that is just normal I guess.
Description of Work: They are our general contractors. They are building a house for us.
