They arrive on time and completed all but the stump grinding in one day. They returned with the equipment to grind the stump and completed all of this about 2 days later.

I emailed them and they set up a time to meet my neighbor as our properties are beside each other and I was going out of town and we were going to split the cost. They never called to say they couldn't come nor did they show up at the agreed time. I actually bragged to my neighbors about the Angie's List vendors and this vendor was an embarrassment. A call or an email would have been great, but it wasn't until I emailed them today that they sent me a short curt email to say that they could not work on this project. No reason...just no. I will NEVER recommended this vendor. F is not low enough

He was awesome and did the work for half the price of everybody else.

Workers showed-up on time and immediately went to work. They skillfully climbed and took trees out, from the top. Many of the trees were close to the house - the guys were careful to swing falling limbs away from the roof and patio. These guys could climb trees like animals - I was impressed! They hauled the scrap away and when they were finished, two guys showed up with a stump grinder and took-out the stumps. All in all, a great job!

They were very professional and thorough. They provided a day's work and then some! The yard looks better now than before they arrived. No leaves or twigs. They are a great team and one I would highly recommend.

It was awesome. They were very good. They were very professional. They have good equipment and they knew what they were doing. They were more experienced that the other one. They have a proper tools and proper equipment to do a big job like that like big trees. They also have a larger crew.

They did most of the work that I hired them to do. However, they ran into a yellow jacket nest and couldn't finish the job. They told me that they would have to come back when it is cooler, but I have never heard from them and they never came back to finish. I hired another company to do the work. I would probably not hire this company again.

Robert's Tree Service was the first tree service to respond to my call when I needed tree removal. Jerry was very professional and kept calling me/ texting me and letting me know what the schedule was for his other workers and when he would be able to come out to my house. It started to get very late but Jerry assured me that the job would be done that same day because I had to work the next day and I wanted the tree off my house. A guy named Jarrod came to my house and single-handedly climbed up on my roof and rigged a pulley system to cut the tree down. Once the tree was on the ground he cut it up and removed it from my yard. He was at my house for about a hour or a little more than an hour. These guys are so nice and made my needs a priority. After the job was done Jarrod let me know that it looked like the tree had been struck by lightning and not blown over and recommended I report this to my insurance adjuster. I just can't say enough good things about these guys. I'm typically very critical about professionalism and a job well done but these guys are TOP NOTCH!!! Professional, friendly, punctual - I could go on and on! I would totally use these guys again and again and I highly recommend them!!!!!!

Jerry arrived quickly to give the estimate and tentatively schedule the work for the following week. He was easy to communicate with by phone or text, and called quickly to confirm a day and time. The crew arrived early and worked hard but took the time to set up safety ropes and plan the limb falls. They did a good job despite the high humidity that day. They were pleasant and professional.

Excellent word and attitude. Very responsive to our concerns that other plants might get trampled. Great to work with.

We loved him. My husband really liked the tree service we have been using. He did the work he said he was going to do. The first time he did some work for us, he called if he was going to be late. He was so good about that. I could not get over how good he was about that. I think that is a big deal. I sit here waiting for somebody to show up and they don't call, they don't let me know anything. I think he was only 10 minutes late but he called to say that he was running late. I think he said 15 minutes or so and he was here. I think my husband thought it was very reasonable. I don't think he was the cheapest. We will definitely use him again, in fact there are couple of more trees we are going to get down eventually.

We used several tree services in the past, but decided to use Roberts Tree Service because of the ratings on Angie's list. They were the absolute best we've have ever done business with and will use them for all our tree needs in the future. We had them remove one large poplar and three large southern pines, all around 125 feet, that were very close to our house. They also removed four 60 foot plus oaks in our back yard which were not accessible with a lift truck. Obviously the 125 foot trees were too tall for any lift truck. Roberts' professional team, with two excellent climbers, removed all trees, ground all branches less then 18 inches, and hauled all larger trunks off in a single short day. They didn't harm the dogwoods or hemlocks surrounding the large trees and avoided the underground power, fiber optic, water, and gas lines running through the project area. The following morning Roberts had David Arnold Stump Grinding (423)825-2255 grind all stumps. First, you'll never meet a nicer individual and he did an excellent job in less than two hours. David brought two stump grinders in case one broke down. We are extremely impressed by the speed and professionalism of Roberts Tree service and also have all the wood chips for our natural areas and gardens. Roberts cost was very reasonable for the job preformed; a few years back we paid almost the same amount for half the number of trees removed by Roberts.

I contacted Mr Roberts through Angie's list. He called me right away and setup a time to come out and give an estimate. Once we received the estimate the work was scheduled and completed as agreed. The crew was very professional and we are very satisfied with the work that was completed.

When my long time tree service stood me up I called Roberts on a whim. They came quickly worked efficiently and safely. They stacked wood o. My property at my request. I will call them again.

MEN SHOWED UP ON TIME EVERY DAY AND WORKED WELL. THEY APPEARED TO REALLY KNOW WHAT THEY WERE DOING.I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH HOW THEY WERE SO CAREFUL IN LOWERING THE LIMBS DOWN AS THEY WERE CUT IN ORDER NOT TO DAMAGE THE HOUSE, LAWN , OR GARDEN AREA. THEY THEN GROUND UP ALL THE LIMBS AND CREATED A VERY NICE PILE OF HARDWOOD MULCH WHICH WE WERE ABLE TO USE AND THEY HAULED EVERYTHING ELSE OFF AND THEN SOMEONE CAME AND GROUND THE STUMPS..THEY HAD THE BEST PRICE BY FAR FROM THE OTHERS WE CONTACTED OFF ANGIE'S LIST AND THEY DID A GOOD JOB WHAT MORE CAN YOU ASK

I I was pleasantly surprised at the quote which was lower than what I had paid a few years before with another company who only took down 3 trees. They did a great job of removing the debris and there was just minimal damage to my yard (i.e. some dents and some burns from the chain saws), but I expected that and they did warn me ahead of time that there might be some damage. The yard has pretty much repaired itself by now anyway. I would definitely recommend them and would use them again the next time I need tree removal work.

They were supposed to call me the Monday after July 4, 2012 and I never heard anything. I still have not heard anything from them. I don't think they were honest with me about their insurance information.

Having lived at the same address for over 30 years, we had become complacent about some pine trees at the top of the street, actually enjoying the little bit of privacy they afforded. However, during those 30 years, the six trees, which had been planted too close together, had gradually become unsightly sticks with dead branches jutting out beneath the 15 to 25- foot top growth. One of the six trees died this past winter, and we feared it would fall either in the middle of the street or on our house. We called Roberts Tree Service, 423-991-7611, and scheduled an appointment for an estimate. Not expecting a certified arborist, Lance Frazier, to arrive, we were immediately impressed with his knowledge, ease of manner and lack of pressure to be given the job. We were concerned that the removal of the trees would harm our yews but were told the branches and trunks of the pines would be diverted from the yews. Pleased with Mr. Frazier's estimate of costs, which included a chipper, truck and six men not to mention a 10% Senior's discount, we made the appointment for the trees' removal for a week later. Much to our surprise, Mr. Frazier himself arrived at 6:50 a.m. and, shortly thereafter, five more men wearing Roberts Tree Service logo t-shirts showed up to hand-saw the branches from the trees (I was initially fearful that the chainsaws would start up way too early for my neighborhood.) and lower them by rope or accurately toss them into the dead-end area of our street. The tree trunks were then removed by chainsaw at a reasonable hour. Rather than charge us for a cherry-picker, the men would climb one tree then move to the others, cutting and tossing branches to the men on the ground, who then fed the cut wood into the chipper. It was like watching a well-oiled machine - six men all working together, each making sure the client was not only astonished by but pleased with their efficiency and accuracy. By 11:30 am, the job was complete, our property was pristine - no sawdust or errant twigs, branches, etc. remained on the street or ground. With the exception of the fact that the trees were gone, no one would have known there had been any tree removal done that morning. There is no doubt that we will call Roberts Tree Service again. It is a joy to find a company that truly cares not only about trees and taking pride in a job well done but their clients as well.

They were very good and efficient. They cleaned up very well. They arrived when they said they would. They did a good job. They checked back with me to make sure that I was satisfied. The price was market value. I made several comparisons and got several quotes. They were within their competitor's price so they were competitive. I left a message and they called back right away. They were good all around. They were very courteous, friendly and very professional. I would use them again.

Called and they responded quickly. He came and gave an honest and reasonable quote. Unlike other tree services, he didn't come in and advise me to cut down every tree in my yard. My yard is quite tight and the Maple was hanging over a studio, which presented a few challenges. They didn't have a problem, did all the work by climbing and cutting, and removing every thing by hand.Left the site clean and came back and gave me a huge load of mulch. Now these guys aren't going to show up with all the latest gadgets and matching tee-shirts and act like car sales men with phony smiles and such. They do a good job for a great price.

After the March 2 tornado, I called 3 of the highest rated companies listed on Angie's List. Estimates ranged from $1500 to $3300 for 2 trees. One was laying atop our shed and the other was a tall pine that was not damaged. The representative from Roberts was the most professional and did not have to "think about" the total cost.

They were efficient and the pricing was fair. Their estimate was a little bit lower than the others I received.

I liked everything about them. They were very good. They knew what they were doing. It took a little while to get everything done, but they were extremely busy because of storms in the area. They did a really good job. Their people are thoroughly trained and very good at what they do. It wasn't an easy job that they undertook and I was pleased with them. I went to 2 or 3 others and that's why I selected them. I would use them again in the future.

It's not that complicated. He and his crew came out and cut the tree. Didn't damage any property. Did a fine job. Very pleased.
