 + -1 moreWe soon learned that if they told us the plumber would be there at 8, all plumbing decisions had better be made because the plumber would be there on time. Our neighbor, who was a builder in a previous life, asked, "How do you find workers who'll come at 7 in the morning and work all day?" They came up with some ideas that never would have occurred to me. They've had the same subcontractors for many years, and they're wonderful -- excellent craftsmen, efficient, productive and personable. If I were going to build a house or remodel again, I'd choose them in a heartbeat. Last summer, when our son and daughter-in-law decided to add to their house, we recommended Mathews Construction. They did and had some of the same subcontractors, and they were pleased too.
Description of Work: This company rebuilt our house following a fire. They did everything they said they would, and they did it on time and at a reasonable price. They built the house from the floor joists to the 2 x 4s to the rafters and roof.
