He gave an estimate for the motor and for the installation but it didn't work out. He put an inappropriate motor for the furnace due to which we had to replace the whole unit. This motor worked with the air conditioner but didn't work with the furnace. He removed the hardware underneath and tried to fix it but it didn't really work out. So finally we had to find someone else to do the work. He was very unprofessional. He would say that he would come but never came on time. He used to get parts from other people's houses and used to say they are the new parts but actually they weren't the new parts. I don't want to use him any more and I will never recommend him to any body. I had a very bad experience with him. I have spoken to him several times but haven't expressed my complaint to him in person. The last communication with him was during the end of October or in November.
Description of Work: I used Paul King's Oil Furnace Service to install the air blower motor for the furnace in July.

I called in late morning after first calling another company that gets high rating on Angies List, but they said it would be late in the day before they could get here. I then called the company from which I bought fuel oil and they recommended Paul King or his brother, but said that most people liked Paul better. He came before noon and diagnosed the problem within 5 minutes of looking at the furnace. The nozzle must be part of a general oil furnace tune up because every time someone has worked on the furnace they have replaced the nozzle. He looked at the filter and said that it looked like it had recently been replaced, which it had, so he didn't replace that. He also cleaned the inside of the heat exchanger which had never been done, or at least not in the 9 years that I have lived in the house. He got out about a shoebox full of rust and soot that he said was killing the efficiency of the furnace. After watching him do that I can see why nobody wanted to do it before. I will definitely call Paul the next time my furnace needs to be looked at. I will probably call him next fall to do a tune up so it won't quit in the dead of winter.
Description of Work: My oil furnace quit working and the problem was the ignition transformer was only putting a little less than half the voltage it should. He replaced the transformer and nozzle and cleaned the inside of the heat exchanger.
