Mr Handyman of Chattanooga

He was punctual, prifessional, and did a great job!

The guy that came was John Botbyl. I hired him to fix my storm door on my house. He came and fixed my door and saved me over $1000.00. He was very fast and very good. It was well worth the $146.00. I was have otherwise had to order the door from Alabama and have it shipped here.

Mr. Handyman of Chattanooga has deceptive business practices that trap you into their services. We called because we needed some work done and were getting several estimates. They gave us a quick phone estimate of $500. They came a couple of days later with the job already booked. We explained that we were still getting estimates so they provided one. It was almost five times more than we had been quoted over the phone. It was 4 times more than the highest estimate we had received. Then they charged us for the estimate. I was shocked as I have never experienced a company that would charge for an estimate. They have claimed they made us aware, but I was not on that call and my husband was also not aware and as shocked as I was when asked for payment by the service technician who provided the estimate. Buyer beware! They have extremely high prices and deceptive business techniques. I issued a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and asked for a refund. The company did respond, but there was blame shifting in their response and no responsibility was taken. I have not be refunded my money. My complaint will be published soon on the BBB website. There are honest and affordable handyman services in Chattanooga that we have found and used for the repairs. Please look for them and don't hire Mr. Handyman. This is an update to my previous review after further interaction with the company.

The technician was very courteous and professional, while still being friendly. We felt comfortable with him right away. All interactions with Mr. Handyman have been great. I will definitely be calling them again.

This company charges $60 to give an estimate!

Very well. Handyman (John) knew what needed to be done and prompt. All were taken care in 4 hours. Charge included materials.

John was extremely knowledgeable, courteous and professional in performing his job while at our house. Performed a great job in repairing our furnace rm & office area.

It went extremely well. Setting up an appointment was easy and they were so friendly. Asked several questions to make sure they could meet my needs. The technician was on time, dressed professionally in his Mr. Handyman uniform (as a female this stands out to me especially when I have had the stereotypical tattered jeans, stained white t-shirt, unshaven man in my home which honestly doesn't always make a young female living alone feel too comfortable) and he also provided superior service. He was professional and very efficient. He went over the job with me to make sure I had a full understanding of everything before he proceeded and it turned out beautifully! He even wrote some notes on my invoice of things he noticed that needed repair which I truly appreciate since I work so much I overlook things like that. I am definitely going to hire Mr. Handyman to come back and do the paint work for the remainder of my home and any other repairs I may need. It was also great having the peace of mind knowing they are licensed, insured and have a 100% satisfaction guarantee. They exceeded my expectations by far!

Wow!!! Very professional!! Clean van, well dressed, very courteous and clean. John did outstanding work He was very efficient and thoughtful. I've never had anyone do work in my house that works so clean and neat.I could tell immediatelythat this was a company I will be using time and time again. The owner even came by to check the job and she too was very professional, kind and well spoken. I would highly recommend Mr Handyman Chattanooga to all of my family and friends.
