Charged me $225 for a (diagnostic) on my floodlights. Less than 15 minutes later, his diagnosis was they needed to be replaced. He did not check for bad bulbs or sensors. He made his conclusion based on they had power, but were not working. Estimate was almost 3 times what I paid 2 years ago.

The electrician was supposed to install outlets in a room. He did not install them. I wanted light switches installed also. He did not install them. He said I need new breakers left to go get them and never installed them. I paid for these things and never got them done.

On time, good communication--I was sent a picture of the service person so I knew who I was expecting. Very professional and courteous. I was given a quote onsite and could accept or reject. The estimate was EXACTLY what Home Advisor estimated the job would be--No surprises! I have used Home advisor for 6 home projects and ALL of them were from professionals with 5 star ratings. Mr. Electric is now in my book of professionals to call when I need work done on my home.

We were quoted a price by home advisor. They billed us that amount. Mr electric said they were not sent through and charged over $400 more. they worked here less than the time projected by home advisor, then they informed us that they would have to return JUNE 1st to complete the work and that it was going to cost another $700 plus to complete the work originally booked by hm adv.
