mortgage broker
 + -1 moreThis was a terrible experience. I made several trips down to their office with additional copies of information they already had but could not find as well as sent several faxes with duplicate information. Financial information was disclosed to our realtor which was a serious breach of confidence. We went with a VA loan but you would have thought they had never done a VA loan before. I was afraid we were going to lose the house we wanted because of them.
Description of Work: Mortgage broker was to help secure loan for new home purchase. It took over 4 month to close a VA loan because they couldn't seem to get their act together and complete their work in a timely manner. The one positive thing done was they DID lock in a low interest rate for us. They did not tell the truth about how much money we needed to bring to closing. They insisted I withdraw money from MY 401 when it was my husband's veteran status being used for the loan. They divulged my personal finances to our realtor who had no need to know that. It was just a very unpleasant situation. We were fortunate in that the seller understood we were not the holdup but that Mortgage Assurance was. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone.
